Well, we had high hopes for this place, but they either had a bad day yesterday, as compared with our first time there a few months ago, or they just don't have the Addison magic... To speak to positives: David, one of the managers, is a great guy, and he was one of the highlights of the evening. Asia, our young server, struggled with opening a wine bottle and seemed to be overwhelmed with other tables, leaving us to drift quite a bit, but she's a bright spirit and seems to have a sweet heart. Their wine menu shows a half-discount on South American wines -- a tactic that somewhat is effective, but, having worked in the wine service world for a number of years in Texas, I know that those wines are *much* more affordable (cheaper) than others, so their $128 Argentinian Malbec that's now in service for $64 likely only cost them $25 or less wholesale, so the use of a "reduced" feature on pricing of them is crafty, though a bit disingenuous from an industry standpoint. However, food is why we were there, and this is where it fell apart with our second visit. The first visit in 2024 we did was pretty spot-on, though we noticed the salad/non-meats part of the meal is VERY reduced compared with our first visit to FdC in 1998 in Addison, TX, on Beltline. Maybe this is a pattern overall in churrascarias, and it's disappointing, but it's not a game changer since the place is noted for meats. Last night was full of being ignored (save for David and one gauchita that was regularly at our table when she had meats), overcooked and burned meats, hardly ever getting the yucca/potatoes/bananas/biscuits sides, and empty beverage glasses. Not only that, but the ice cream with the chocolate molten cake my daughter and wife were to share for dessert was significantly melted because it sat for too long before it was taken to our table (even beyond what one would expect being next to a newly prepared cake). I don't think we are returning. I hope things turn around for them. We have so many good memories of churrascarias in Texas (Boi na Braza, Chama Gaucha, Texas de Brazil in Ft. Worth -- NOT OKC's!), and we were excited to see one in OKC. In this instance, things are definitely better in Texas.

Upon arriving, our party of 7 was not seated immediately because two members had not yet arrived (per the hostess's rule). The couple showed up within 3 minutes of the hostess walking away, but we still waited about 10 more minutes before being seated, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. Once seated, the server handed us drink and dinner menus but not the smaller bites/appetizer menu, which I didn’t even know existed until I googled the restaurant afterward. Some of us didn’t have complete place settings and had to request them. Additionally, we weren’t immediately given the meat coasters, and while the server eventually noticed and handed them out, not everyone at our table wanted the unlimited meat option. When the server returned, she took our drink orders but didn’t ask about food. Two of us ordered the Strawberry Hibiscus Caipirinha, which we found undrinkable—terrible, in fact. I switched to a Cosmopolitan, which was much better. Save your money on the Caipirinha, in my opinion. I asked about smaller portions, and the server explained I could opt for the salad bar and one meat. The salad bar itself offered decent variety. The smoked salmon was good, but the shrimp wasn’t replenished, and the soup was ice cold due to a broken burner—unacceptable for a $36 price tag. When the meat service began, it was painfully slow, and many cuts were either undercooked (almost raw) or overly fatty, with little flavor. While we prefer medium, much of what we were served was practically blue. Despite the promise of 14 cuts, we barely experienced 7 or 8 and had to specifically request more variety. It wasn’t worth it. The sides were brought out before the meat and were never replaced with hot or fresh versions. To make matters worse, no one explained what the sides were when they were served. Our server’s performance was extremely disappointing. While she did receive a tip, it was more than she deserved, as agreed upon by several members of our table. Did I mention one of the guys cutting and serving meat rolled his eyes at me as I couldn't understand what he was asking me?! Really dude?? We won’t be returning.

Not to sound like I've never been anywhere before, but wow, just wow! I finally experienced Fogo de Chão, and I'm still reeling from the incredible meal and experience. As a first-timer, I wasn't quite sure what to expect, but from the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the elegant atmosphere and the warm, welcoming staff. The Burger and Fries Bar Option was a steal for $10, and the Pinchana Steak Burger was fabulous, however, The 'Churrasco Experience' is truly something special. The constant flow of perfectly grilled meats, brought right to your table by the gaucho chefs, was mesmerizing. Each cut was cooked to perfection, tender, and bursting with flavor. I especially loved the picanha and the filet mignon, but honestly, everything I tried was delicious. The Market Table was also a delightful surprise. The sheer variety and quality of the salads, cheeses, and other sides was impressive. It's easy to fill up on those alone, but trust me, you'll want to save plenty of room for the main event! Beyond the food, the service was exceptional. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, explaining each cut of meat and making sure we had everything we needed. The gaucho chefs were also incredibly friendly and enthusiastic, adding to the overall festive atmosphere. I went in expecting a good meal, but I left with an unforgettable dining experience. Fogo de Chão is perfect for a special occasion or just a night out when you want to treat yourself. I can't wait to go back!"

I don't know that this experience could have been much worse, but at least the food was fresh and tasty. We had reservations for a friend's birthday, only 3 of us, we arrived slightly early to be considerate and still had to wait 20+ minutes to be seated. As we were seated, the server introduces herself and gives us a rundown of the menu, takes our drink order and we hit the salad bar. When we return the drinks (sodas/water) are there and that's about the only attentiveness we experienced. As we were into our salads, I realize we didn't have napkins, they were not on our table with the silverware. I ask our server, the 2nd one we were introduced to who was a man and the 1st was a woman, and he says he'll be right back with napkins. 10 more minutes pass by, I go up to the bar and ask the manager, tall slim guy in a suit, for napkins, he turns to a server and the server asks where I'm sitting and he says he'll have them asap. 10 minutes go by and I approach the same manager at the bar again saying I've asked a couple times and still haven't gotten napkins, in which he hands me 2 beverage napkins. I say "sir, we'd like napkins to use to clean our faces, not beverage napkins" which he then quickly steps to a stock supply right next to the bar and hands me napkins. After going back to the table, we then are waiting for dinner plates. After another 10-15 minutes with nobody checking on us, I get up to get us salad plates from the salad bar and return to flip our cards over, we were ready. The staff serving the meats were all super kind and served very hot and fresh food, everything we had tasted good. After sitting for 30-45 minutes eating, our friend who only eats chicken is full and ready to go, I ask our male server if they have filet tonight and he says yes, we always have filet. And I asked if we could get some and told him we had been waiting to try it and it never came by, he said I'll get them right over. We also ask for our check at this time. About 15 more minutes go by and he comes by and tells us it just takes a bit for the filet which is why we haven't seen it... After being there for over an hour at this point. He leaves and we don't see him again. The guy I mentioned before who the manager from the bar asked to get napkins, comes behind me, reaches over to fill my friends glass (we all had water and other drinks, he refilled my friends club soda) then when leaning back from being over me, spills the pitcher all down my left side, my arm was soaked. He laughs it off and apologizes. After we finished eating we finally got the mashed potatoes and palette cleansers. We waited probably another 20 minutes before anyone checked on us and another 15-20 after we asked for the check. Honestly, probably the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Severely disappointed for a $230+ meal for 3 people and the service was that mediocre, nobody ever seemed like they wanted to help or make you feel welcome. What a bummer on a night that was supposed to be spent celebrating our friend was spent regretting our decision to try something new. We will stick with...

I have visited Fogo de Chao steakhouses in other states and was so excited to try the new one in OKC. Last night I went there with my mother and son for dinner. We were sat in a table tucked away near the front door, behind a pillar. Initially the server was quick to come over to take our order. We ordered waters to start and said that we needed a second to look over the drinks while we waited on someone to return from the bathroom. The server was disappointed in our tap water order and came back, slamming the water glasses down on the table then hurrying away. We waited and waited for him to come back for about 15 minutes. After that time, we went up to the salad bar. There were several items out (including dressings) and it was messy. I quickly grabbed my food and headed back to the table. We ate our salads and waited for the server to come back. We continued to wait. After being there about an hour, a different server came in and asked us if they could get us anything else. We replied that the meat portion of the meal had not even come by and we had not received sides or been able to place our drink order yet. He apologized and said he would arrange for the sides and the meat service to start. He brought back the sides shortly thereafter and a few meats began to circulate around. The sides were very small portions (example: We had enough mashed potatoes for everyone to get one tablespoon full). The meat servers would frequently walk right past our table despite the token being flipped to green. When we did get some of the meats, it was small portions that weren't always warm either. We asked for more sides because the small size of them and asked for a coke that never arrived. Out of everything there, I would say I got to eat enough bread since everything else was such as small portion. Eventually, nearing 1.5/2 hours, we eat and stack our plates for pickup. We're waiting on the check. After waiting around 15 minutes, finally the server asks if I need the check. I reply yes. I continue to wait while someone busses the table around me, someone finally the busser if I need a check. I reply yes. Eventually my check gets to me. In the essence of time, I hand my card off and wait some more for its return. I did not see an itemized receipt so I don't know if I was charged for the drink we never received but I didn't have another 30 minutes to wait for assistance. I paid around $250 for one of the most disappointing dinner services I've received.

Overall, I love Brazilian steakhouses and had high hopes for this one because of my other experiences at the chain however the OKC location falls very flat right now. For the price I paid, I expected way better service and availability of items. Very...

So my friend John brought me here, fully aware that I’m probably the pickiest eater alive. I don’t like much of anything—except meat. And at Fogo de Chão, meat isn’t just food, it’s practically an art form.

We went for the Full Churrasco Experience, which is the signature rodízio-style service where gaucho chefs circle the room carrying massive skewers of fire-roasted meats. They carved slices of everything from the famous picanha (Brazil’s prized top sirloin with that perfect fat cap) to fraldinha (bottom sirloin sliced against the grain), filet mignon, beef ancho (ribeye), alcatra (another juicy cut of sirloin), and bacon-wrapped medalhões. On top of that, there were costela (slow-grilled beef ribs), cordeiro (lamb chops and picanha), garlicky frango (chicken), linguiça (spicy pork sausage), and even bisteca de porco (thick pork chops). Each cut was different, each cut was delicious, and before I knew it, my plate was overflowing.

Here’s the trick I learned, though: flip your little token to green and tell the gauchos “more, more, more” early on. If you hesitate, they ghost you just long enough for your stomach to start waving the white flag—only to come back later with another round of sizzling steak when you’ve already hit that “I can’t eat another bite” moment.

The Market Table & Feijoada Bar looked stunning. It was loaded with seasonal salads, roasted veggies, cheeses, cured meats, Brazilian black bean stew, and farofa. I’ll admit, I didn’t touch it (salad and I are sworn enemies), but my friend raved about it. He did point out that the shrimp was missing this time, which was a slight letdown compared to past visits.

The atmosphere was lively and upscale—perfect for a night out. Service was spot-on, the gauchos were friendly, and the staff kept everything moving smoothly. The only small knock? The music over our table was just a bit too loud.

Yes, prices have gone up, but let’s be honest: you’re not just paying for dinner, you’re paying for an event. This is not a grab-and-go meal. This is a place you take your mom, your family, or anyone worth celebrating with. It’s an indulgence, and it’s worth every penny.

Bottom line: I’ll absolutely be back. For a picky eater like me to say that about a restaurant? That’s...
