I reallllllllly wanted to love this restaurant. I’m on an exclusive gluten and dairy free diet and knew this would be one of my new “go to” spots. My experience today during lunch was horrific. Not only was the line not socially distanced, but we stood in line for over thirty minutes. I’m assuming it was a manger who then walked over to everyone in line and gave ONE free hummus card (for the next visit) on them. Everyone who was in line was there with multiple friends so only one per party in line received a card. My friend and I looked at each other like, “well I guess only one of us is deserving of the avocado hummus”. 😬 During that thirty minutes standing in a non moving line, my pregnant friend went and sat down because she was feeling ill. She sat down for maybe two minutes before a man walked over and told her to get up because we weren’t assigned a table. He then told her she could sit in a chair by the entrance... the problem was she needed to take her mask off and take a drink. The chair at the entrance is in the way of the line to order. So she wouldn’t be able to take her mask off. She of course said forget it and stood next to me for another ten minutes before we could finally order. Because there weren’t enough tables available, people’s orders weren’t being taken and we were literally just standing there. Eventually we placed our order and of course what we came there for was then sold out- at 12:30. Gone. My friend then decided to get chicken and fruit and I ordered the glow bowl. We were then “assigned” our table that of course was next to the line to order and a windy door. Not ideal at all. My friends meal came out and we both looked at each other and laughed. It was a few thin strips of chicken and a bowl of mush fruit... she paid $17 for that meal. My meal arrived and my sweet potato noodles weren’t cooked and a few of the ingredients were missing. I was disappointed. We quickly ate our food and left because the people in line were right next to us/behind me and they were less than 1 foot away. Literally a woman’s purse hit me in my shoulder while we were seated and she was standing in line. Sorry for the novel but I felt it all needed...

Read moreI ordered their food through Door Dash. I ordered the chicken plate with mashed potatoes and asparagus (turns out it was a slaw). On the plus side, the food was well seasoned and not too salty. The chicken was tender and the potatoes had a very good flavor. On the minus side. The portion sizes were not large enough for a dinner entree. These were lunch size portions and should have been priced as such. This place is not cheap so the least they can do is make sure the portion size is correct. The biggest disappointment was the asparagus "slaw". It was 2/3rds chunks of potatoes, tiny bits of cucumber, parsley, lemon and olive oil and pieces of asparagus. Now the flavor was great, but, apparently no one explained to the chefs or owner that you cannot use the entire stalk of asparagus, at least one third of every stalk is inedible, like chewing on wood. Whether you are eating asparagus raw or cooked, first you must take the asparagus, about 10 stalks at a time, and bend it slowly till it breaks.. Each piece will magically break off at the spot where it becomes inedible. The lower stalk is thrown away. Most of the pieces of asparagus were not edible as they were bottom stalks. I did not want potatoes, which made up 2/3 of the salad, so I got a few pieces of seasoned asparagus, a LOT of inedible asparagus, and a bit of cucumber. I was still very hungry when I finished this food. This was a potato slaw with a few vegetables thrown in. Not what I ordered or what was...
