My recent visit to the KFC in Oklahoma City left me with mixed feelings. While the food offered great value for money, the overall experience was marred by the lack of friendly and engaging staff.

Ordered a spicy chicken sandwich thru the drive thru and got home the chicken was HARD as a rock, I mean hard as a rock. So the very next day I come back and order again and requested a fresh sandwich dropped and explained what had happened the previous day, get to the window moments later and they already have my order bagged, hummm, so I open up the order and the chicken is absolutely miniature in size and the sandwich is cold. I bring this to the attention of the cashier and she rolls her eyes and walks off without speaking. Well manager comes to the window and begins blaming corporate. I then say I requested a fresh sandwich and she says "it only takes 22 seconds to cook it, it is fresh" lol now I've been in restaurants for over 25 years and no chicken cooks in 22 seconds. Then the manager gets mad and says "well if you want it fresh it will be 15 minute wait for a fresh one" Seriously 😆 that's what I asked for in the line but y'all lied and tried to pull a fast one. She offers to refund me and I accept, she then had the nerve to ask for the mountain dew that she'd already handed me and i drank out of, ugh nope, im keeping that...when she gives me my card back for refund the manager just slams the window shut and walked away. I then waited several more minutes to get proof of the refund. Totally rude and quite frankly ghetto. My advice to the "corporate" fire the management or shut it down...

Usually I don't have a bad experience with this store. This visit was different. I waited at least 15 minutes before getting to place my order in drive thru then waited an additional 15 minutes in front of the store where I was told to pull up and wait longer. They almost gave my order to the vehicle next to me who was also waiting. Obviously the staff knew they had done a bad job since I found 10 chocolate chip cookies in my bag that I didn't order. I appreciate the attempt to ease my frustration but in the process they forgot to complete the order by leaving out the rolls, didn't keep my food warm and gave me the wrong chicken pieces all together. I was too upset and exhausted to stay and argue. It was late in the evening so I didn't want to wait any longer for them to remake the order and finally eat. Honestly it's going to be awhile before I visit again. I'm not usually one to ask for a refund or free meal because I know what it's like working in fast food and drive thru but this time I would appreciate one or my meal prepared correctly.
