Clean setting and kind cashier. Otherwise, I have a few thoughts:
Prices are extreme. 10$/min for any sandwich. Small soup 5$. These are not large servings at all!
A GF sandwich gets charged at a more expensive "medium" size even though it's not even close in size to a medium and then additionally adds another nearly 2$ for the bread. The fresh veggie GF cost 11$ and was mostly just bread, a small bread no less. If you're going to mandate a larger size, the bread should be similar in size.
Furthermore, if you sell a veggie sandwich it should have a sufficient amount of actual veggies on it. One slice of tomato, 2 cucumber slices, and a light scattering of finely chopped olives does not constitute a valid sandwich or a sandwich that should be sold with confidence by any restaurant.* A veggie sandwich should have the same amount of veggies as the amount of meat on a meat sandwich since this replaces the much higher priced meat.* Help feed a vegetarian by actually making a sandwich they can fill up when eating, especially if you're charging as much or...
The front lady taking orders was so rude and the sad part is she wasn’t even rude to me. She definitely hated her job and you can see it on her face as well as her demeanor when she was talking to other guest. I felt so bad for the lady in front of me, especially since she was an elderly lady. I hope management sees this and lets her go because her attitude will drive customers away. The lady needed help with her app and she sighed like 5 times before helping her. She kept saying “just go here! sigh.” Customer came in and told her she needed help upfront. She keeps shaking her head at the customers as well. I’ve never been to an establishment with service like this ever.
Restaurant was clean and didn’t take long for me to...
Read moreScholtzky's is a solid sandwich joint. The bread is unique, and is the cause for some to dislike the shop, but I think it is a positive signature on their sandwich. The food is nothing outstanding, but the reason it is getting 4 stars is because it is such an easy place to get a sandwich, and I get a really good vibe from the atmosphere. I think that Schlotzky's is underrated as a place to simply get a meal, and hang out with some friends for a bit. The other big plus for this sandwich joint is that they are open late in relation to other sandwiches. It is difficult to find a decent sandwich after 8:00pm, but they're open until 10:00. There's a special place in my life for...
