First, the food is amazing! We ordered the Black Ox and a Vermicelli bowl with pork belly, shrimp tempura, and seasonal veggies. Hands down, the Black Ox is one of the best pho we've ever had. The oxtail meat was literally sliding off the bone. The brisket was delicious, and the broth is so flavorful that we didn't want to add the siracha and hoisin sauce to it.
The Vermicelli Bowl was pretty incredible as well. The option to add any of the fixings listed on the menu really makes it stand out. The dish already comes with a veggie spring roll and standard veggies, but we added seasonal veggies to really amp up the freshness, and we highly recommend doing so. It was soooo good! The pork belly and shrimp tempura add flavor and crunch to an already colorful bowl, and it was just a perfect melody of flavor and texture.
Service was chef's kiss Our host was very patient with us, of course, but the fact that her enthusiasm matched ours had us feeling giddy our entire stay. In addition to such a great host, the servers were very quick to bring out our food. We were expecting to wait a little bit because it is a relatively new restaurant, but we were pleasantly surprised when our food came out so quickly.
Twenty pho hour is definitely a must try because, in addition to their amazing food, the interior design is literally something out of a comic book. The black and white cartoon theme covers the ceiling to the floor including the tables and chairs with scenes and cute characters on the walls or floating just up above our heads. If you've ever wished you could eat food from a beloved cartoon/anime show, this place will make you feel like you can...
Read moreTried Twenty Pho Hour this weekend, and a worker asked to review on Google to spread their brand so here I am. I will give a general review of the food, follow by my personal opinion of this restaurant. If you are reading for food review, don't let my personal opinion of the place sway you.
So foodwise, this is probably will be one of the best tasting Pho in Oklahoma. Their broth is rich and flavorful. If you need a review to see how this place is, then I recommend you, go try Twenty Pho Hour out. It's good! One thing to note is it is hot like an oven in the restaurant, but worker said they're working on upgrading the A/C so you can try it now, or later whenever they fix it.
Now, my personal opinion of the place. What's with the name? People trying too hard to use a Pho word play that it just doesn't make sense. No they're not open twenty four hour. Next is the interior design, at first it looks cool, then it got me dizzy. Black and white deisgn is great but if you fill up the whole restaurant then it became too much IMHO. The next one is the price vs. size of the pho, I should include this in my general review, but I don't want to deter you from trying it out so I put it down here in the opinion section. Everything is more expensive here, from appetizers to Pho bowl. The Pho bowl is pricier vs other restaurants but the size maybe smaller to me.
That's it, I enjoyed the food. Not so much the art. With the price I had to pay it maybe a while before I visit again, if I do. What I ordered was a Pho combination, a pig bowl, and 2 kids bowl, paid $75...

We enjoyed lunch here on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered the Combination Pho and were immediately impressed. The broth taste clean and flavorful, herbs fresh, and beef of high quality. The portion size is just right and the balance of ingredients made sure the last bite taste as delicious as the first. There are also a few larger options available on the menu if you have a large appetite.
There are no servers and all orders are taken at the front of the restaurant before sitting down. However, if you are reading this and feel that not having traditional full service may be less personal, you'll be surprised at how the team here engages in service and hospitality. The host, food runner, and management were all very friendly and caring. All of the staff came to check on us throughout our meal to make sure we were enjoying the food. The owner also walks around and touches tables himself (interacts and speaks with guests to make sure they are happy with the experience).
The art and decor in the restaurant is very unique and I have never seen anything like it. Cool drawings and illustrations invokes curiosity and many customers, myself included, got up to look around at the different areas in the dining room. The restaurant has a very clean and bright atmosphere and the playful thought and detail that went into creating the dining room is quickly noticeable.
We will definitely be returning to this...
