Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Like for the longest time, I’ve been able to pay for a medium drink cup and get it filled up with salsa.

So tell me why I ask for a large cup of salsa and they try to sell me this dinky little bean cup of salsa for the price of a medium drink? Like the beans don’t even cost that much I know it costs more to make those than the salsa.

Well I asked for a refund and when they couldn’t figure out how to do it. They called their manager and instead of asking about the salsa cup, they asked about how to do a refund for just the salsa.

It’s a shame because the food was actually really good this time. But my beef nacho salad was soggy by the time I got it home. It’s to be expected but the extra time I had to wait there for the refund and then spend more time filling a bag full of little 2oz cups. Frustrating but at least it was free.

The beef, salsa, queso, and bean burrito were really good. The chips probably would’ve been good had I eaten immediately when it was handed to me. But...

This evening I went thru the drive. I checked my order, it was correct only thing wrong was that I ordered 4 soft tacos not hard ones. I was trying to get the cashier attention so decided to honk my Horn Tyler opened the window and HOLLERed AT ME AND STATED, CAN YOU WAIT. TYLER YOU SHOULD NEVER HOLLER AT A CUSTOMER, I have been going to this place for many years and never had a manager cashier holler at me like that. If that is one of your pet peeves you stated you need to work somewhere else where you can holler at period. Soft tacos was not in my order tyler Manager stated they don't have soft tacos, you should have stated that in drive thru. I went inside and ordered some other options. New manager needed that was unacceptable for me. Store #3010 if Manager need anger management and pet peeves issues Train your manager correctly I have been coming to this location for over 20 years. The food was absolutely terrible. I have been a fan of Taco Bueno since the 1980s when i would get the Chicken Fajita nachos in Norman when i was a kid. I realize that sometimes quality can be a roller coaster; ups and downs from time to time. My go to location used to be on NW 39th street and Meridian in Oklahoma City, however i have noticed over the past year that place has gone waay downhill. So i have tried the N May location twice now and both times i have been unimpressed. While the staff is certainly friendly the food is just awful. Not sure what to offer by way of solution but i can tell you i am DONE with the chain entirely until the quality of food can return. The taste was very bland, they didn't even have the pulled chicken for the enchilada instead it was small chunks of grilled chicken meat which NEVER go into an enchilada. Also the beans were rather bland and the salsa was watered down, and the chips were crushed into tiny...
