I put in an order on the Taco Bell app for 2 cheesy chicken crispanadas, 2 Doritos locos tacos, 2 crunchwrap supremes, 2 cinnamon twists, and 1 large Baja blast. 15 minutes go by and I pull up to the drive thru speaker. I’m greeted with, “Welcome to Taco Bell, take a few seconds to look at the menu and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. What can I get started for you?” I reply, “I had an order on the app for Andrew.” The employee responds, “Oh yeah, we don’t have the crispanadas anymore.” She repeats this 2 more times and a few seconds of silence go by before she says, “You’ll have to go on the app and cancel it.” Me being taken aback by her rude tone and lack of problem-solving; I respond with, “Yeah, so how do I cancel it? I’m on the app and it doesn’t give me an option to cancel.” She proceeds to tell me that she can either have me pull up; get my name, phone #, and last 4 of my card to refund me OR she can take a whole new order for me and have it done that way. I chose option #1. I pull up to the window to be greeted by an employee with her arms crossed and biting her lip. Having already paid $34 on the Taco Bell app, I didn’t want to have to reorder and pay for everything again. I then ask, “Is it possible to make 2 beefy 5-layer burritos instead of the crispanadas? Then you can make everything else that’s in the order.” She turns to her coworkers and asks if that’s possible to which she turns back to me and says, “You’ll need to come inside since you’re in the drive thru.” I acknowledge that I’m not trying to waste their time and just want the food I paid for. I park my car, come inside the restaurant, and wait in line behind 2 customers before Jasmine (the employee who I’ve been talking with this whole time), asks for all the info in order to do a refund. She says that I can still get everything made and she will only refund the crispanadas. However, if I want 2 beefy 5-layers in sub of the crispanadas, I’ll have to go ahead and pay for those on a separate ticket since they cost more. I thought, “No worries— I’ll go ahead and pay for those, get the refund and still get the rest of my food.” A minute or 2 goes by before they yell out my name and the 2 beefy 5-layer burritos are ready. Assuming the rest was going to take a bit, I sat there for an additional 15 minutes, waiting for the rest of my order to be complete. During this time, 2 customers ordered and received their food in a very short turnaround. I could hear the employees gossiping about how rude customers are and how they don’t like when people talk to them a certain way. I thought that was ironic considering how poorly they were treating me. After another customer ordered and they had cleared the drive-through, Jasmine and her coworker let out a sigh of relief since they just cleared a lunch rush. I walked up to the counter and asked, “Are y’all still working on the rest of my order? Jasmine smirked, walked over and asked what she could do to help. I proceeded to pull out my phone and remind her that I was still missing the rest of my order that we had just previously discussed. Jasmine pretended as if she didn’t know what I was talking about, turned to her coworker and said, “Did you make the rest of his order?” The other girl asks, “What are you talking about?”Jasmine exclaims, “The rest of his order! They both started laughing it as if it was some sort of joke, and the girl in the kitchen responded with, “Oh no I haven’t started that yet.” Seriously? I was sitting there for 15 minutes. To my surprise, I did receive the rest of my order. However, 40 minutes had gone by between me placing the order on the app, attempting to pick it up at the drive-through, then having to come inside the restaurant and get the whole situation taken care of. I still have yet to receive a refund for the crispanadas that were never made. I was told by Jasmine that I would be receiving an email in regards to a refund, but I still have yet to receive that email! I will not eat at Taco Bell until the situation...
Read moreTaco Bell offers a fast-food experience that's a mix of Mexican-inspired flavors and American convenience. The menu is diverse, with options ranging from classic tacos and burritos to creative offerings like the Doritos Locos Tacos. The fusion of different ingredients creates a unique taste that appeals to many palates.
However, the quality can be inconsistent, with some locations maintaining better standards than others. The emphasis on affordability sometimes results in compromises on ingredients' freshness and overall taste. The restaurant's vegetarian and vegan options are commendable, providing alternatives for those with dietary restrictions.
The atmosphere at Taco Bell outlets is typically casual and geared towards a quick meal rather than a sit-down dining experience. Drive-thru and late-night hours make it a popular choice for those seeking a convenient bite after hours.
In recent years, Taco Bell has made efforts to adapt to changing preferences by introducing fresher ingredients and healthier choices. Still, it's important to acknowledge that the food, while satisfying in its own way, doesn't necessarily represent authentic Mexican cuisine. Overall, Taco Bell serves as a go-to for fast, affordable, and somewhat adventurous food, but it might not fully satisfy those seeking an upscale or traditional...
Read moreI came in yesterday around 6pm ordered my food inside I asked if they can make sure I get fresh fries because every time I come eat here they are always cold. I get my food and the fries are cold I politely asked if we could get fresh fries. I waited 15 maybe 20 min for the fries. While I’m waiting it’s a tall lady(I’m guessing the manager) she is just being very rude. From the time I walked in she was being mean to those employees. But I over heard one of them tell her that we were waiting on fries and her reply was “I Don’t Care, they will just have to wait”. After waiting forever just to get fries I’m frustrated at this point because now my other food is cold & I can hear the beeper for the fries but no one is making a effort to give us our fries so I walk back up to the counter to see how long and again I hear one of the employees tell her we are still waiting on fries and again she replies in the nastiest tone saying “ I Know I See them Waiting” Like really, What type of business/customer service are y’all enforcing here? If you are going to put someone in charge and have them working in the front make sure they are nice to the employees and the paying customers. DON’T EAT HERE at this location you will get hotter food, better customer service and maybe a cleaner kitchen...
