I always mark the option to leave at the door. I’m not sure where the delivery fee goes if not to the driver.
The previous time I ordered Jimmy John from this location, the driver knocked on my door. He informed me that he left half of my sandwich at the store and had to go back to get it. I told him okay. He then asked me if I was going to tip. On top of the delivery fee I had left $5 on the table outside of our door. I was baffled and half tempted to not tip after leaving my sandwich at the store…. Should just get the sandwich free! He came back 30 minutes later and didn’t take the tip from the table.
Last night we ordered Jimmy John on the way home so we could eat and start the chiefs game when we got home. On the way home my wife got a phone call from the store only to ask for a tip. We were planning on tipping the driver at the door. No manners at all and always messing up on orders. I’m done with Jimmy John. Firehouse sub is a little further, but 10x better and way more...
Read moreAlmost an hour and a half after placing my order online at 11:10 AM, I ended up just canceling the order at 12:25 PM and asking for refund. Not the first time this has happened with this location and that's why I declined the offered credit. Other times that I've ordered during 'peak' lunch times it's never taken this long. I could have walked there in 20 mins, ordered and walked back to work and it still wouldn't have taken as long. And I'd have time left on my lunch instead of wasting an entire hour waiting for my food to arrive. I get restaurants have challenges (especially with the issues we're facing regarding COVID19) but again, this isn't the first time this has happened at this location. Gave it several chances after a lot of delivery time problems but I think this will be the last time I order from this location. Plenty of other equally mediocre sandwich shops...
Read moreWent in for a couple sandwiches. I had to wait till the the 2 guys working to finish their convo about their newest tattoos. I placed my order & the sandwich maker was trying to read my order off the computer to which the guy taking my order only took about half the details of what I wanted. So as Im coaching the sandwich maker thru my order a piece of lettuce falls on his shirt. To my amazement he flips it off his shirt on to my sandwich. Smh. So he finishes my order & hands me my 2 sandwiches & 2 bags of chips. I asked for him to put them in a bag & he points towards the other end of the counter by soda machine & says "bags are down there..". I cant see the bags because the bags are on his side of the counter. He goes "thats what they tell us to do..". Smh I love Jimmy Jones but will not return to...
