Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Olathe

Hands down my favorite pizza chain as far as the food goes (not greasy; my intestines appreciates them too), but over the years their reputation has been soured for me with website ordering problems and the most recent Pi day (see below). In general I'd recommend going here (1) if you have a coupon and (2) if you order in person (to avoid order system issues or waiting in an incredibly long line). Unfortunately I've started to receive coupons that are "online only" which violates my 2nd recommendation.

My Pi day experience: Walked out at 6:30pm with my pickup order I scheduled for 5:45pm at 12pm. There was a line out the door; busy with the Pi day deal and I understood that to an extent, but watching multiple people walk out with pizzas that were behind me in line made it too much to handle. Best part was watching an old lady who just finished paying grab a pizza that likely wasn't hers and just walk out with it with nobody caring. Lets start with the food; Holy wow this pizza is AMAZING. I have replaced all of my favorite pizza places (minus Pizza Ranch way up in Missouri) with Papa Murphy's. This location know what they're doing on this front. Now the reason I'm removing a star; the staff is just so...confusing. They all genuinely seem to hate their jobs. I get that it's fast food, yeah those jobs aren't fulfilling; but every single time I go in here the staff all just seem like they want to die. That's not an overstatement, they all just do their tasks and walk away. There is genuinely no care in their work. Regardless, foods great, price is more than reasonable...

I ordered two pizzas. Customized them to have no cheese on half of each pizza. They put cheese on everything. When I called them to explain the issue, they said they’d make a replacement pizza with no cheese. Then, when I returned to the store to correct the issue, they insisted that I did the order incorrectly (despite the fact that I had the order on my phone and could show exactly how I customized it to not have cheese). Because I didn’t bring back the original pizza (my husband had already baked it) they would not give me a replacement. Instead I bought another pizza at 50% off.
