Tea-Biotics Kombucha — Restaurant in Olathe

We've been kombucha drinkers for more than 12-15 years, so much so we bought a kegerator from Tea-Biotics. Pros: We like Tea-Biotics for 5 major reasons: *Diversity of flavors. They always have something new to try. The flavors may not be the true definition of kombucha, but they have great taste. I'm not sure the calories are the same for all their flavors *They sell kombucha in all sizes, including 5 gal kegs. We keep 2 kegs in our kegerator at all times. Two different flavors. *Healthy for your body, unlike most non-water drinks *Low in sugar calories *Local, more fresh. Faster shelf turn-over

Cons: *Expensive. Kombucha is not a cheep drinking habit. Can't afford it, drink something cheeper, it's your choice what you put into your body. *Hard to find kombucha in the smaller cities and towns. As a rule I find that country folks think kombucha is a city drink for the rich *Kombucha in the Mid-West rarely goes on sale. Sales help generate more interest in the drink when it goes on sale. Brings in more customers who are hesitant to buy an expensive drink and they might not like it.

Of note, in the Kansas City area, Health-Aide kombucha is giving Tea-Biotics a run for the money. Be ready Tea-Biotics. Health-Aide is more like the true definition of ancient...

Today was our first visit to Tea-Biotics, and WOW were we impressed. The owner, Lisa, came up to us almost immediately and began explaining what we were looking at (I KNOW we looked completely lost, we’ve always purchased our kombucha from grocery/health food stores). We were able to taste test any/all the flavors they had on tap (48!!!!!) 😲 before making our decision on the flavors we wanted to purchase. My favorite was the Coconut cream pie kombucha and my husband’s was the cream soda kombucha. Lisa was so kind and informative and answered all questions we had. I’m a huge fan of great customer service, and I truly can’t express in one short review just how impressed we were with our visit from start to finish! We all Luv & enjoy goin to Tea-Biotics KOMBUCHA on Linwood in Olathe. It's the best tasteing room with over 20 flavors. If you dont know about Kombucha this is the place to start! It is everywhere to buy. Yes I do buy other brands when on sale, or drink homemade brew, It never compares to Lisa's amazing Tea-Biotics. I don't know why I waste my money on other stuff? Its my go to place when out of town family & friends visit, or wanting to have a healthy quick stop, yummy slushy, for summer refresh.
