Buffalo Wild Wings — Restaurant in Oldsmar

I normally enjoy coming here but we’ve had 2 bad experiences in 2 months. And this last one shows I’m not coming back to this specific location.

1. I ordered takeout 2 months ago and it said estimated 1 1/2 hours to be ready, for 15 wings. I felt it was a little long but whatever. I go down to pick up to see a lot of people waiting in lobby for their order. I stand in front of the takeout cashier literally for 10 mins until she asks what I want. I tell her about my order to respond that they had shortage of staff that night and if I wanted it, it will still be a long wait for my wings. I told her to cancel my order as I already waited an hour and 45 mins at that point. I ordered on my phone for the same wings at TGI Fridays and was immediately able to pick up the order. Took almost a week to finally get my money back from BWW.

2. today, my fiancé and I go in to sit down and first it took over 20 mins for a waitress to come to us, just for her to apologize and say her day was hectic. We ordered an appetizer, and our food as we already had time to look at the menu. Food came out roughly 10-12 mins after that and it was our entrees not appetizer. We didn’t have silverware or napkins, kinda needed for boneless wings, she said she’d go get some and I brought up the appetizer and she said she forgot and left. She went to roughly 3 other tables and never got our silverware, always walked right by us. Then she disappeared. She walked by again about 10 mins later and I stopped her for silverware and she reached over to the computer and grabbed some. Took like 30 seconds. Then our appetizer comes out. And it was missing something I ordered. Manager comes over and takes appetizer off as we sent it back (too late to eat an appetizer now) and takes 15% off the bill. Then waitress mumbles something to another worker saying “if I get fired tonight I don’t care at this point.” She had a bad day for sure but this bww is not getting my...

Let me start off by saying that this Bdubs is beyond amazing. From the location, to the staff, to the food. I have been in the service industry for 11+ years and 1 of those years was at a Bdubs location. It’s been extremely difficult to find a Bdubs that hires people who care about their guests and enjoy their job. My boyfriend and I have gone to four different Bdubs trying to find a new wing spot for us (we LOVE wings and will visit a wing place at least twice a week if we are able to!). I got good poisoning from the Ybor location along with MANY TERRIBLE experiences there, we have walked out of the dale Mabry location for terrible service and being ignored by every employee multiple times, Brandon we had good service (at the bar and bar floor), but this location knows what they are doing with hiring people. Our first visit we had a server by the name of Becky, she was absolutely fabulous. She took care of everything perfectly in a timely manor, and the food was delicious! It was a nice change of pace considering we have had such terrible experiences for the past year. Today (not even a week later) I got off work and my boyfriend asked if I wanted to go to Miller’s Ale house or bdubs. Obviously, I chose my one true love (Bdubs) lol. Our server today was extraordinary! Shyra is the definition of what a great server is. She ensured our drinks, food, and everything in between was taken care of. There were some thing that could have ruined the experience, but Shyra definitely made the experience even better just from being herself (which is awesome). We will forever make the 20+ minute drive to this bdubs whenever we get a craving for wings! Shoot, I may even apply soon and be part of the bdub fam again! This location is worth every penny! It been amazing every visit! We will be back because of Becky and Shyra! Thank you both for making me have hope...
