I try to patronize restaurants and give them the benefit of the doubt but the food was tasteless to us … I hope y’all still patronize maybe y’all will like the food. This is my honest opinion and I’m not trying to bash, everyone has different tastebuds and neither me or the kids enjoyed the food we got New Year’s Eve and we had to go spend money patronize elsewhere because we were still hungry. I thought I had COVID testing to eat this it has no flavor whatsoever! This was a complete waste of $80+ for 3 people and worst bbq/food I’ve had in my life bland/no seasoning, overcooked and overpriced. My son (16) didn’t eat but maybe 1/2-1 slice of his brisket he ate over half of my fish, My daughter (6) played over her food (pictured I didn’t get to get a pic of my son or my food) and said she didn’t want greasearoni, and the spaghetti ($1.25 extra which I found out about once I got the ticket) tasted like ravioli filling. I spent $80+ (3 meals) at Corky's Olive Branch, and it was not good. The only good thing was the catfish (it was real catfish and it was seasoned well and the ONLY meat that was seasoned). With the exception of the catfish everything else was bland and their bbq sauce is horrible. The macaroni ($0.75 cent extra which I found out about once I got the ticket) was greasy and they top it with something that looks like seasoning salt and it’s very salty. The potato salad ($0.75 cent extra which I found out about once I got the ticket) is nasty it’s also topped with whatever they top macaroni with the potatoes are cut like scalloped potatoes and don’t taste worth nothing and the sides (except the spaghetti) portion aren’t appropriate, the spaghetti looks like it’s topped with chili with no beans, the brisket was bland and not tender, the ribs were kind of tough, bland, and still had the membrane on the back of them, and the baked beans weren’t baked nor did they have any taste/flavor just bland like they got them straight from the can. The ribs and brisket looked like it might’ve been boiled maybe baked there was no flavor at all not seasoning not smoke not nothing. The waitress was nice however she only came to our table 3 times to take our orders, bring our food, and bring the check.

Was in Olive Branch ONLY b/c I was able to get a friend & family rate at a hotel. Anyhoo...I used the drive thru. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich and opted to "make it a plate" which adds 2 sides. Was surprised to learn that there were upcharges for the 2 sides that I chose...Which was not clearly communicated (this increased the cost by $3...Not a huge deal, but it would have been nice to know this, especially since I was only "trying" the items, I would have selected from the included options.). Since I'm in the South, I also ordered the banana pudding. Long story shortened ever so slightly.... The portion size for the 2 sides alone is contrary to the need for an unchange. The mac & cheese was just OK. The double-baked potato salad was good in concept, but execution was lacking, or perhaps had too much of "something". Banana pudding was not to my liking, seems like they used some type of filler and artificial flavoring. The sandwich was pretty good. Bread was fresh and meat was tasty. The young lady taking orders was pleasant. Overall, if I went again, I would stick with meat and staple sides = fries and salad.

I went here about a week ago when I visited my daughter. This was my second BBQ place in Mississippi and was already going in judging due to the last place I went to. I ordered the brisket, pork belly burnt ends, pulled pork, and sausage with baked beans and coleslaw. While I waited for my food the waitress brought out some fresh rolls that I devoured instantly. They were so fresh, warm, and fluffy. Once the food came out my opinion immediately changed. The brisket looked great. It was nice and moist with a great flavor with no need for BBQ sauce. I then turned my attention to the burnt ends. They were a little different from what I'm used to but delicious nonetheless. Great flavor and the fat just melted in my mouth. The pulled pork was equally as impressive. It was shredded nicely while not dried out. The sausage had a nice slight char on it while not being burnt. It had a great bite-thru with a nice flavor. I did pay a little more here than the last place but it was worth it. I didn't let one thing go to waste even the sides. If I'm ever back up there again I will eat here again.

Hey there. I just wanted to pass along the really terrible experience we had at your Olive Branch location on 8/07/2020.

Initially I tried to place an online order but the app/website side you weren't currently doing online orders. Okay. So I called the restaurant and after a VERY long hold time a young man took my order. Onion loaf Chicken sandwich(plain) Side of mac and cheese Sausage sandwich It came with fries and a drink Large sweet tea.

Upon arriving we called. And called. And called. And called. NO ONE WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE. So we had no other option but to hop in this ridiculously long line of cars to get our food.

Let me start by saying when we arrived the line was SUPER LONG. It was taking a good 15 minutes for ONE CAR to move. Even with our current situation (COVID) this is unacceptable. I know this because I wasted my first 15 minutes in your parking lot trying to get an employee to answer my call.

When we got to the menu we went ahead and made a new order for fear we would get food that was well over an hour old once we got to the window to pay.

Once we FINALLY made it to the window we had been in line for 52 minutes.

You guys didn't disappoint. EVERYTHING was terrible. Not to mention your restaurant doesn't even have the onion loaf. The chicken was dry and tough. The fries were soggy and just gross. Mac n cheese tasted like cardboard and the sweet tea was most definitely OLD....... We won't be back. I know this will most likely fall on deaf ears but you NEED to know how horrible this place is doing right now or you'll...

Just ate at the corkys in olive branch. Noticed it was very cold in the restaurant and asked that the heat be turned up. Told by the first young gentleman the thermostat needed a password then asked to speak to the manager who at first would not come from out of the back. Asked 2nd staff member if she was refusing to speak to her customers. They said no they would go get her. She finally came into the dining room, pretended to work with the thermostat that showed 66 degrees and did not walk over to the table to speak to me or my husband. After about another 20 minutes the thermostat still showed 66 degrees but was set on 72. I then asked staff was the heat broke and they said yes but they weren't supposed to tell the customers. Staff said the manager was directed to not tell the customers. Really? Is this how corkys treats their customers? On top of it all we noticed staff kept going to the patio where the heat was apparently working. When we asked staff why they just didn't seat people in that area they said we told the manager that would be the best thing to do but she didn't agree. I'm so confused about this situation. If the heat was broken just be honest, give people the courtesy to be understanding ot take their food to go. I'm very disappointed in the values that corkys instills in their workers that they all felt lying was the best choice in...
