Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Olive Branch

Arguably the best and most fresh pizzas you can buy in a pizza shop in this area. Usually very generous on quality cheese and toppings, my favorite pie is the Mediterranean and my favorite dough is the thin crust. But last night, the Staffing reality-check hit them hard on this visit. The Olive Branch store around 6:00 PM was staffed by young adults that clearly did not want to be there. And I think there was no management present. No warm welcome, no smiles, no enthusiasm. I ordered my two pizzas, paid my 29 bucks and left thinking that what saves that brand is the quality, the taste and freshness of their pizzas, since you bake them yourself. Upon arriving in my kitchen after 10 minutes of driving in the rain, I realized that the second pizza, placed under the first one, was entirely different than what I ordered. Back in the car, heading for Goodman Road. When I opened the door of the store, the young man just said "I have yours here in the cooler, she gave you the wrong one". He took the wrong pizza off my hands saying "we had to redo this one" (like it was my fault). He handed me my "All meat" and I left. No apologies, no "so sorry for the inconvenience of wasting 20 minutes of your time", nothing. Then I am thinking, is it even safe to repossess a Pizza that when home with a client? I certainly did not unwrapped that one but these days, I would be cautious. Not my problem, just a thought. I came home on time to eat the first pizza I had put in the oven, delicious but already cooling off, because that's the only challenge with thin crust: they are best when coming out of the oven... my wife enjoyed it pippin hot! Perhaps it's time for this group of young people to train with Chick Fil'A Associates before their next shift at Papa Murphy's... This was only my second time at Papa Murphys and for some reason, this second pizza was not as good as the first one. I have to contribute it to my choice of ingredients. Lol! What I really like about it was the freshness of the pizza. For those of you who have never visited it, you cook it yourself. It doesn't take long. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. The price was excellent for a large pizza.

Perhaps it was the pepperoni, now that I reflect back. It was like eating plastic. It had a little too much red sauce on it for my guy, but it was fine for me. First time I ever been to a Papa Murphy's. Used the app and saved some money. The new Alfredo Chicken and the triple cheese pizza was on the menu for us. We took them home and cooked them. Delish!!!! Heard they had any large pizza up to 5 toppings on Tuesdays for $10 I believe and I will definitely see for myself because that pizza had some fresh toppings and I was shocked that I got them in 5 minutes fr9m when I ordered on the app. Very nice associates and manger.
