Well, overall the food is actually good, but my bad experience outweighs the good things I can tell you about this restaurant. (I visited 2/20/2023) I am extremely dissatisfied with my potbelly experience. I cannot even praise the partially friendly employees because I am so disgusted and disappointed with the one employee that did not do what he should have to protect the customers. The caucasion man with the blonde ponytail and blonde facial hair was so disgusting. He kept coughing and sneezing in the food preparation area without covering his mouth. I was so disgusted I should have left with my family instead of just settling to pray over my food. Although prayer does work! I told him he needs a mask on. I feel he did that on purpose. I wish I would have left. I ordered so much food for my family and spent so much money here. I came because I had a coupon and the employees are welcoming and friendly but most times so unprofessional. Last time I came, the man was eating behind the counter while working. They talk all over the food area. They should be required to wear masks when working so close to the food. This visit, my chicken was so cold. I took a bite into my sandwich and the chicken tasted as if it was not toasted at all and they took it straight from the icebox and put it on my sandwich. It had a lot of gristle in it too. I pray I don't support this business anymore and I am not sure how I can find out if they fix any of these things that are wrong. I actually felt sick a few hours after leaving the restaurant. Runny nose, sneezing, and feeling weak all because an employee chose to come to work sick and do absolutely nothing to protect the customers. I pray whatever he had I don't have it. I did not feel well this morning. I am doing everything I can to combat this. I am just so disappointed with myself. I should have left. The coronavirus protocols should still remain in place where employees are in contact with food. How can you all feel that handling money and food are not a safety issue/concern. 🫴⭐⭐⭐ I've eaten here twice this month. I ordered the Monster Wreck, both times. 👍The first time, the bread was soft and the sandwich had lots of meat. "You could see the meat" 👎 This last time, 2 days ago at about 6:45 PM I ordered the Monster Wreck. The bread was so hard. It was difficult to bite into. Plus I had to take the sandwich apart, just to make sure there was meat 😔. To add another sad point. I ordered a bowl of pot pie soup. Which was just flavered water. Which I did drink 😔.

However, on this visit my sandwiches sat on the countertop for several minutes before they were given to me at the drive up window. Secondly, when I got home and opened the sandwiches, the contents were meager to say the least. I called and spoke to the manager on duty. I think that his name is Fabian. He told me that that is how the sandwiches are prepared. If the sandwiches were prepared with very little meat, mostly bread and condiments, we certainly would not visit as often as we have in the past.
