Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Olive Branch

I'm in town from Dallas for my cousin's wedding and needed some "fuel". Surprisingly, there's A LOT in Olive Branch to eat!!! 😱 Anyhoo, this was my first time ever coming to Tropical Cafe and customer service was great! I ordered the:

☆PEANUT BUTTER BANANA CRUNCH FLATBREAD ~ 3-stars peanut butter, banana, granola & honey ••• • This being skillet-fried with a lil' butter is the missing piece! Other than that it was pretty good for the most part.

☆DETOX ISLAND GREEN® ~ 4-stars spinach, kale, mango, pineapple, banana & fresh ginger (naturally sweetened) ••• • It's naturally sweetened alright!! 🥴😵‍💫😂 But, this is one of the most nutritionally beneficial smoothies out there! Although it's not satisfyingly sweet it's still refreshing!...

At one point and time I ate at Tropical Smoothie everyday for 7 weekdays. It wasn't until I ate into my chicken pesto and hair was in it. I called before going back by after work and the young man at the counter offered me another chicken pesto vs giving me my money back. The crazy thing is, he opened it up and identified which co-worker the hair belonged too. I refused to accept another chicken pesto and just walked out without replacement food or getting my money back. I had never experienced any problems with my service or food prior to that day. It was always good. But I do think that whole shopping center needs some work in the customer service area. Someday I may revisit but...

It seems like everytime I go to this location there is a problem . But, this the closet location to my job . First time my detox smoothie tasted like peanut butter , second time the cup was half full , third time they added ginger and I ordered no ginger . One of my coworkers had a qiwi quencher and she said it tasted like water and fruit . The person at the front was very understanding about remaking my order. She even told me to taste it to make sure it was right , it wasn't but, I didn't have the time to wait for them to remake it . It tasted like peanut butter and bananas .
