Lately, visits are different. Menu has changed a bit. Rice used to come with 3 shrimp taco order to best of my memory. I had to order separately this time. The regular Mexican Rice isn't even on the menu for $2.20, just the cheesy rice for $4.50. The shrimp fajita comes with rice and beans on a side plate with the pico, guacamole, and sour cream. I requested double rice since I didn't want beans. The normal size, side plate was smaller; therefore, the rice portion was much smaller than usual. The fajita also had fewer onions and peppers than usual on the cadt iron plate. I was charged twice for a side order of rice though I only ordered 1 side order of rice. The ptemium, jumbo margarita no longer looks jumbo, didn'teven get a buzz and I seldom drink and usually feel alcohol intake. That was a wasted $12.95. I make better tasting margaritas at home just using mixes from grocery store when serving them at home. There was also a fee for using a credit card. Service was slow, though yes there was a crowd. Service is not as good as it once was and sometimes there's a little language barrier. I used to frequent pretty regularly. The last 3 visits haven't been to my pleasure. I used to have enough fajita and rice to take half home for midnight snack or lunch. Now, no leftovers. Funny, I don't eat as much as I used to because I get upset chest at night if I eat much at 6 pm. I really liked this place since it's close to home and near places I frequent; however, I think I'll continue going to the other 2 Mexican restaurants near me instead of this one. Just decided to give this restaurant another try because I'd booked a room in the hotel behind them in order to swim. I walked from hotel for the exercise and convenience. Rather drive to another place in the future when going to the...

We have been living in olive branch for almost 10yrs love Mexican and like to support local business we have drove by this place many times so we decided to try it a couple of weeks ago great food service etc.. went in Saturday Jan 21st with family from out of town just a group of four they were busy but not packed so we get there my drink order is wrong no big deal until we had to ask for napkins three times then they brought everyone's food except my husband's had to ask for it four times and the staff kept coming by and asking if we were doing ok and my husband told them no I'm still waiting on my food needless to say the rest of us had already finished eating by the time he got his food and by then he was upset and not hungry anymore so we get our ticket and they didn't charge us for his meal but charged for everything else that would not have been a problem had anyone there had even tried to make it right apologize or even offer a free desert something but the staff and manager just shrugged his shoulders like it wasn't a big deal so needless to say we won't be back which is sad bc the food and service was usually great...

I stood waiting before greeted. So, I thought maybe the host was in the back but, it was 2 guys sitting and looking at me at the door. Finally, I guess when they felt like getting up one of them came and asked me if I was picking up. I ordered the lunch and didn't receive half of what I ordered. When I tried to explain it, the guy still didn't comprehend. I kmow this is a restaurant of a different ethnicitiy but, for business purposes you must have someone that is fluent in speaking and listening comprehension. I was very professional in my explanation and even broke it all the way down to almost ABC, 123 format, lol. Thankfully, it was just lunch, and not to expensive but, I left saying, you're not understanding what I'm saying and it's ok, you don't understand and I know why you don't understand. Have a blessed day. I knew I should have went to Guadalajara....

I'm not sure how this place is getting higher reviews....unless the Memphis area just doesn't know what good Mexican food is. Walk in, ok typical Mexican restaurant atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly. The food.....VERY underwhelming. My wife and I both thought it tasted like everything came out of a can or jar. Hardly any flavor at all in either of our dishes. Even the salsa that's served with the shops didn't have much flavor at all except tomato. The grilled chicken inside the chimichanga ...nope, no seasoning or flavor at all. Not even the rice and beans. Literally everything tasted like it came out of a can with zero flavor. This was my first time here and will definitely be my last.

I've gotten takeout from here many times, I always get the same thing, the Carnitas dinner. Every other time the order was perfect, but this time the Carnitas were dry and mostly burnt, as was the normally perfectly grilled onions. The rice and beans were perfect as they normally are, so was the chips and salsa. The disappointing part, aside from the terrible quality of the meat and onions, was the fact that someone saw how bad the onions and Carnitas were, but still put them in the container, sealed it up and put it in the bag. I don't think they would have served that meal like that if I had eaten in the restaurant, if they brought that to my table, I would have sent it back.

Today was my first time coming here. My Grandma is very picky about Mexican restaurants, and today was her birthday so we decided to try a new place. Boy were we very satisfied! The staff was very friendly, the food (we both had rib eye steaks, hers with shrimp) was cooked to order perfectly, and piping hot. They also had strawberry daiquiri, which is my grandma's favorite drink! The ONLY negative thing I could possibly say about this visit was that they didn't have any sugar free cake or anything for my Grandma's birthday. Regardless, we'll be going back here soon!
