Golden Hour Exotic Tea Bar — Restaurant in Olympia

I assumed that I didn’t need to rate the 5 star places because everyone already knew about them. But realized based on the previous reply from this company that this was the wrong way of thinking. Good reviews are helpful for people visiting Olympia or residents curious about a company. There are many places in downtown Olympia that I have recommended Thank you for bringing this to my attention. This the past I would have given 5 stars. But times have changed. Even if a server is talking to a new customer, it is the right thing to just say a quick “welcome “ or “hi”. That didn’t happen and I waited a LONG time listening to the explanation of the drinks and all the plans for the future. Now that I have been in a few times now I am not a valued customer anymore. Yet I followed this place when it was starting up. I emailed a couple places about putting up a poster. Out with the old in with the new I guess. People might spend more but I was a steady customer. Assumed owner says "you wouldnt go to a cafe and sit there and read book for free without buying coffee" when I wanted to pay quarters to play pool without buying a tea. Yes I would thats what a good business is about! Instead I asked to pay to play pool when no one else was in the building and said ill get outta the way if someone comes in. Super cool place, love that they're open till 10pm. Excellent customer service. The vibe was very chill. Nice local art and mood lighting. They have open mic on Wednesdays so definitely sign up for that! Along with tea on tap they also have kratom shots which I'm totally on board with since I don't drink. They also have two pool tables, large jenga and foosball. Credit or cash is fine for payment. Great spot on Olympia, I definitely want to keep supporting them so we can keep a sober hang out spot...
