Casey's — Restaurant in Omaha

Ok, this review is a revision of my earlier review of this location of Casey's. In my earlier review I really went on about how good the pizza was, and believe me it still is, I just can't get it at this location anymore. Went there last night about 6:45pm and the gentleman behind the counter told me that the shift prior to his screwed him over and didn't make any dough and it was going to be about a 45 minute or so wait. Go there tonight at 7:00pm and not a soul around. I was finally told that she, referring to the pizza area, was on break. I said "Oh, so what are we looking at here, 10, 15, 20 minutes? I got an almost non-responsive, "Yeah". I could tell right away that she was Business School enrollee, almost twice last year. She approved the break.. I went out to my car and I actually contemplated waiting for her, going home and having Pop Tarts or go to another location. Off I go to the one on Dodge St, about 76th st. Pizza was fab! Even though I think they made it as a light baked thin crust and I ordered like the original crust.Still good and my tummy will thank me tomorrow for...

Kitchen guys acting shady waiting for me to select an expired food item before they threw them out yesterday. Got a fresh slice of pizza right when they put it in and also WASTED money on this fried chicken sandwich that they OBVIOUSLY fried a second time because it was SATURATED in grease and extra brown. I've worked in several kitchens so if you know you know. Stop cutting corners. Yes, you, big guy in the kitchen. Just because I bought it doesn't mean I'm gonna let you get away with cheating me out of a hard earned meal. You have an easy job but are too lazy to do it. You just printed out a new label to slap on it and pretended it was fresh and let me buy it. I hope corporate sees this. I am so tired of people cutting corners and contributing to the incompentency crisis this country is experiencing. I work too hard for a lazy gas station guy to rip me off for $5 on a easy as heck to make sandwich. Literally just 2 pieces of bread some pickles and a fried chicken you just drop in oil for 5 mins. Get it together. Also trash everywhere on the floor by the food area. Have some pride...

EDIT 12/10/21: Casey's closed early AGAIN tonight. Either change your hours or stay open til 11. It's really simple. Thank you for allowing me to drive in this blizzard just to arrive at 1035pm to a closed store who must have closed way before I arrived cuz it was drawers counted, lights off, doors locked, no employees in sight at 1035. CLOSE AT THE RIGHT TIME OR CHANGE YOUR HOURS!!!!!

Would give ZERO stars if I could. The station on 90th and Ohio Street is a hotmess. There is a bunch of rude disrespectful kids running the place. They act like they own the joint when they clearly do not. Rude in person and this location consistently closes 30-45 minutes early atleast twice weekly. Another exec decision I'm sure being made on the DL by the children Casey's left in charge. Bad move. I know a dozen people that refuse to go there, make it 13. After the way I was just spoken to I won't be back. I spend no less than $300/month in that...
