Clancy's Pub Pizza & Grill on 168th — Restaurant in Omaha

I came in and I just have to say the staff here is just unparalleled! My Gosh! I asked my amazing server Pope what was guud and she recommended many amazing food options as well helped me see life is guud if you look at it from the right perspective! I decided on a small personal pizza, an order of boneless wings and some beer. Boy, they did not disappoint! I couldn't find a sauce or topping combo I wanted so after speaking further with manager Paige she sent her top chef Kyle to a secret culinary school in the Amazon where he became lost in the ancient ways of the sauce. She sent Pope to the farms in Mexico to raise free-range chickens from eggs. The bartender Mac was sent to the field of Rome to harvest the wheat and hops. After he achieved a higher level of consciousness, Kyle returned to the kitchen. By now the chickens that Pope had free-range raised from eggs were ready. After an honest lengthy conversation and some release forms the chickens willingly shed their feathers and de-boned themselves for the wings and pizza. While Kyle perfected his new sauce the barkeeper Mac returned from the fields with the fresh wheat and hops and began the brewing and fermentation while she ran the flour mill. Kyle perfected his sauce and made a fresh dough with Mac's flour after Pope hand-messaged the chicken to perfection and picked out the finest eggs. The meal that was served to me as a result of this labor of love was nothing short of immaculate and in fact was so intense that I left my body after finishing it and was uploaded to the cloud where I was promoted to leave a review of my experience. We hosted my husband’s 40th birthday here in January, and it was fantastic. There is a separate party room that doesn’t cost anything to rent; we just had to meet a $200 minimum. We hosted around 40 people- including some kids- and everyone fit comfortably. We brought in decor and dessert, and we ordered wings, pizza, spinach artichoke dip, fried raviolis, and a salad. The food came out about 30 minutes in, and it was hot and delicious. Clancy’s pizza and wings are both outstanding, and our crowd devoured them.We ended up ordering a second round of wings, which just took about 30 minutes from ordering. The part I was most impressed by was the service. We had our own server, Paige, and she was ON it the whole night. I don’t think anyone waited more than five minutes to drink. We set a budget for food and drinks, and she let us know when we met it. It was an easy transition to our guests paying for their own drinks too. Clancys is a sports bar that has top notch food. It's also a place where regulars feel safe bringing small children there to eat and I have never seen any violence or crazy drunk people there. MY favorites are the Clancy burger and lemon pepper wings with this amazing jalapeno ranch dressing and also blue cheese. They have a great Manager named Randy and the cooks and wait staff are friendly and seem happy. I sorta use it as a study hall and pop in almost daily and it's very hard to resist those lemon pepper wings although they do have a wide selection of wing sauces. If you order a soda you get unlimited refills. I pull a trailer with my Tundra and there always seems to be parking available. They are also known for great pizza and the bathrooms are clean and orderly. They also have a lot of TV's inside and if you're a smoker there is an outdoor patio with a TV and so if you're hungry and in West Omaha they are just south of the Centris Bank on 168th and Center. You will not be disappointed...
