Gigi's Cupcakes West Omaha — Restaurant in Omaha

Myself and my mom have always loved Gigis cupcakes! With myself living an hour away from Omaha, and my mom living two hours away from Omaha we don’t get Gigi’s often! Every time in the past employee’s were very sweet and you were never rushed. Today didn’t feel that way. The one and only lady there was so rude. Again it’s never been like this before so we were caught off guard. While looking at all the flavors, she seemed annoyed that maybe we were taking too long? I do want to add that there was no other customers there the entire time we were there. So why she was in such a hurry… idk. After selecting which flavor cupcakes we wanted she was upset that we wanted the cupcakes in separate boxes, because we were going to two different households. Then at checkout.. she was annoyed we wanted to pay separately. This experience at Gigi’s was by far the worst… I really hope next time...

I've see all the TV shows on cup cakes and was hungry for desert so stopped in. What caught my eye was a cookie with icing in the middle. That was amazing. The cookies are freshly made and the icing is very good. I decided to get a cup cake too since this was a cup cake establishment (I don't get just a salads at a BBQ joint so why would I not get a cup cake at cupcake joint). I will say, it was amazing. They are not the cupcakes you help mom bake with a Jiffy mix. The cupcake is dense and not in a bad way. I'm satisfied with just 1. And the cupcake top was amazing. i was in a sugar comma for hours after that. The price for 1 cupcake made me choke a little, but if your used to paying $8 for a small coffee at Starbucks, you won't bat an eye. Gigi’s Cupcakes is amazing! I had ordered from somewhere else and they lost my order and I needed to get a cake ASAP. So I called Gigi’s and talked to the owner and she was extremely kind and said they would help me out. I called the night before I needed the cake and they were able to get it done for me! Not only did it look amazing but it tasted so good!! When I went in to get the cake I also picked up a bunch of cupcakes that were delicious as well. I needed a gluten and dairy free cupcake for my sister and they had one of those there! Just an all around great experience. I appreciated their kindness and will definitely be back next time I...
