KFC — Restaurant in Ontario

Went through the drive-thru and first thing the girl mumbled and had to be asked to repeat herself multiple times and cutting us off at the end of every sentence with, “and that’ll be all?” Before either me or my boyfriend were done ordering. So anyway, we ordered a spicy chicken sandwich combo with lettuce and mayo added and a macaroni bowl combo. I get the chicken sandwich, there’s not lettuce or mayo on it, so my boyfriend goes in and gets that fixed. They throw away the sandwich get me a whole new one, the new sandwich is no longer a spicy patty, they put none of the signature sauce back on and added what I originally asked for plus tomato. Then I go back to eating and realize both of our drinks are wrong. We decide we don’t care enough to go back in again and get it fixed, but we’re also missing a side of fries I paid for. So I go in and show them the receipt for my missing fries and they take almost 10 minutes to get my fries and the container was only about half way full (no body in there was wearing gloves either while handling food). About half the people I was in line with were also in there fixing their drive-thru orders....

My husband and I are laughing right now bc we just did an experiment. Driving from WA to ID, we were craving KFC... Stopped in the first town and unfortunately it was not open yet. So we had to drive another 150 miles to hit the next town. After reading several reviews about how this particular KFC never gets people's orders correct, we thought we'd just take our chances. We weren't that hungry so we only ordered a 4pc meal with 2 mashed potatoes for the sides.

As we waited, we looked around and felt like the store was relatively clean and the guy at the counter was pleasant. We were thinking maybe this KFC wasn't getting fair reviews... We got our order in a timely manner and took it to go...

I was ready To write my own positive review, but decided I better check my order first. I thought, maybe they get people's orders wrong bc they may order a lot, but all we got was one meal... Surely they could get that right...

As I open the box everything looks good and as we drive down the road I realize ... We got 2 Mac n cheese sides!!! Needless to say, if you decide to go to this store, doublecheck your order before...

For awhile KFC was simply terrible, but now it is delicious! Last two times we ordered a two-piece Original Chicken with Sides. First time was Mashed Potatoes & Gravy, and Mac 'N' Cheese. Normally I HATE Mac 'N' Cheese, except for the Organic A____'s that's the only creamy one that has enough cheese! The second time we had what we had the previous time, plus a large side of cut corn. It was all HOT and Amazing! Nothing cold or nasty here. Both times we had a Breast, and a Thigh. The breast was tender and juicy! A lot of other places serve a dried-out nasty piece of meat when it comes to their Breast meat, yeabut not KFC.

A few years ago I got KFC for the last time: It was Cold, the meat dried-out (even the Thighs, which are normally the juiciest part of the chicken!) and the Mashed Potatoes and the Gravy were not only AWFUL, they were sold separately, which meant if you bought two sides that was it! Back then for some ridiculous reason they were sold that way. At that time I used to call their Mashed Potatoes and their Gravy wallpaper paste; it was that terrible!

I'm SO happy, KFC...
