Tom's #1 World Famous Chili Burgers — Restaurant in Ontario

I've been seeing their special "Love Combo" all over socials, so I dragged my brother to try it with me lol! It was perfect timing since I was visiting the area.

Parking: Plenty of spots! Free parking lot.

Ambiance/Environment: It's a very casual spot. They have a large space with plenty of indoor seating. No outdoor seating. Their drive thru was poppin, and there were customers consistently coming in.

Service: I didn't catch anyone's names, but they were quick & efficient. Throughput didn't take long after ordering.

Food & drinks: The "Love Combo" included 2 burgers, 2 fries, and 2 drinks. It came with 2 regular hamburgers, but we added on cheese. The burgers were simple yet delicious! It also came with regular French fries, but we subbed one of them for Chili Cheese Fries at an extra cost. Their house seasoning was sooo good, and the Chili Cheese Fries were mouthwatering! Now I know why it's so popular. We had to try their most popular Horchata drink. The cashier also recommended their new Strawberry Horchata Smoothie. Idk if I put too much ice, but I thought the Horchata was a bit watered down .. I really enjoyed the Strawberry Horchata Smoothie though!

Pricing: They have a large menu filled with affordable foods! Especially in this inflated economy. My brother and I absolutely enjoyed everything. It was definitely worth it, and we'll be back to try their other...

Where to start... This particular Tom's #1 has been here for as long as I can remember. It's been here before I was 5 years old, and It's been great since.

I actually hadn't visited the place in quite a while since I was a child. I came back to have a taste and see why on earth this place hasn't been taken down like all the other restaurants around it.

Firstly, due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we only had the option to go through the drive-thru. I ordered Tom's Burger. I waited in the drive thru along with other people. The wait time was taking a while, and it was a little frustrating. But once I arrived at the window, paid and got my food, and drove off, I had the chance to taste the fries.

A pang of excellent taste hit me like a truck. Tom's fries are utterly delicious, and there is no natural way to describe them. You have to taste them yourself. I finally got to a place to park and had the chance to eat the whole meal. The food is delicious. These burgers are some of the best burgers I had with grilled onions, lettuce, tomato, and dressing. It makes sense now on as to why they have been up for such a long time.

I've only been here a few times to be honest. It's actually been a good while since I last came by. The reason is that; when I first came to this area, several years ago; the food just seemed to taste 'really good' & be of a much better quality. 😏

I don't know if they have changed management or ownership but, the last couple of times I've come by.., the food didn't seem to have the same flavor & this most recent visit.., left me disappointed & feeling like I wasted my money. 🙄

The truly sad part is that when I went in to inform the manager (there wasn't one available) but the workers did their best to try & fix the issue I was having, so I decided to just accept my food, as it was already paid for and I didn't want to give the workers (who helped me) a hard time. 😒

In any case, they do have some dishes I've seen other people order that look good but as for me, I don't think I can get past the fact, that I have now been let down two times in a row. 😥 For now.

I wish them the best & hope they can get their act together because they have such a long standing reputation, that it's difficult to see them "dropping the ball" like this, just when competition is really on the rise! 😕
