Some of the employees really need an attitude adjustment. Idk if they're racist (theyre black, im white) or i just so happen to deal with them when they're in a bad mood, but i think its the same few women. The most recent incident was today. I was waiting in line and in a little bit of a hurry. When register 2 finished checking out a woman, the cashier looked at me, so I started walking toward her. I should have waited for the call for register 2, but I figured she didnt do it since she saw me coming. I placed my items on the counter and the cashier went to the back counter and started doing something with another employee. I didnt mind so I waited. I couldnt tell if 5 or 10 minutes had passed, but I had asked the 2 women if this register is no longer open. I asked loudly, but not yelling, just loud enough to be heard, but they ignored me. They both made eye contact with me multiple times while I was waiting there, the couple times I asked if the register was closed they made every effort to not look at me. Finally an employee who just clocked in walked by and I again asked if this register is now closed. At that time the two employees ignoring me decided to turn around and say they didnt call me and the register was closed (with an attitude). The employee that walked up offered to check me out, but at that point I didnt care anymore and just left. It would have taken just a moment to turn around and say "sorry but that register is now closed." Which would have been fine and I would have returned to the line. Don't sit there and ignore me for 10 minutes. The register number was still illuminated BTW. The store is nice, but some of the employees need an...
Read moreFor some strange reason this TJ Maxx canât seem to get the store organized. Itâs always a wreck. Everything is all over the place. The employees are terribly unfriendly. I stood in check out for quite some time they had two cashiers one cashier finally came up. She was too busy chitchatting with her buddy at register 2 to open her register. The line was probably 16 people deep and she wasnât real friendly. I am a true MaxaMista, I shopped TJ Maxx almost every week and sometimes twice a week. If I travel, I look for TJ Maxx and I shop, I am a card holder at TJ Maxx and I am very disappointed in the one and Tiger Town Opelika, Alabama if there was minus stars I would give you that. The worst store on the planet and itâs been like that for a very long time.
This will be my last trip to this TJ Maxx I will drive from Auburn Alabama Georgia to shop there, which is about a 45 minute Worth it!!! Clean this store up yâall have issues at...
Read moreIf you're going to lock 12.99 earrings behind the jewelry counter, at least have someone that can come get them out in timely manner. Asked the employee at the dressing rooms if she had the key. She said she didn't but would call someone over. She helped another customer and then let me know that someone should be there soon. There's at least three employees working the registers and the line of customers waiting to check out is not bad. I stand at the jewelry counter for ten minutes. A manager walks by me to go talk to another customer in the clothes right beside where I'm standing. She asks that person if the cart belongs to them and starts chatting with them. I decided at this point that the two sets of earrings I wanted were no longer worth my time. I can understand if it was super busy and I had to wait for that reason. The employee walking past me to chat with another customer...
