Culver’s — Restaurant in Orange Beach

Update: A few days after my initial review (see below), I received an email from Culver’s offering to remake my meal at a future date. I appreciate this, and I’ve changed my review from 1-star to 3-stars. This is the kind of customer service that should have been offered when the incident occurred but I am nevertheless appreciative that Culver’s did finally make an effort to win back a customer. Thank you.

I placed an online order with Culver’s Orange Beach this afternoon with a scheduled curbside pickup at 5:45 this evening. My partner arrived at Culver’s at 5:43. The person who brought the food to him told him that it was cold with no further explanation. When I called Culver’s to ask why the food was completely cold, I was told by Isaac that it had been prepared and sitting there since 2:30. I was upset, given that the order contained chicken and beef. I told Isaac that I could not believe that they would give a customer food that had been sitting out for more than 3 hours. Isaac told me to “calm down.” I called back and spoke with Harrison, the manager on duty. Harrison blamed the situation on some sort of computer error. They are giving me a full refund. However, I am shocked that a restaurant would give a customer food that has been sitting out, unheated, for 3 hours, without any warning. I am offended they that an employee would be allowed to tell me to “calm down.” I am surprised that they would not offer some sort of apology in the way of a discount on a future purchase. Terrible customer service. I will be looking for my refund and will definitely not dine at this Culver’s...

The worst fast food restaurant I've been too. we waited on our food for almost 30 mins. we finally get it and I have no sauce in my bag. I go in to get some and I have to pay for it when I didn't even get any in the first place, when I asked for some and I assume already paid for some. I also did not get a receipt because they just pushed me through the window. I went and got money she said it was 50 cents and I walk back in and now it's 55 cents. I finally get my sauce but she was so rude one of the worst interactions I've had. they also up charged me on everything and then gave me smalls on everything. they are just trying to steal money. I will never eat here again. it was absolutely ridiculous. The girl that was working the front does not need to be or definitely needs...

On May 18th, a group of my fishing buddies stopped by for dinner on our way back to Birmingham. Ordered a double butter burger which was cooked perfectly. My son got the pot roast dinner which was excellent and my other son got the Buffalo chicken sandwich which was also very good. We each got custard mixers with the flavor of the day which was Carmel Fudge Cookie Dough.

The service was excellent as well. Counter staff was fast and courteous. The lady who was cleaning the tables went above and beyond on the call of duty when I asked her to spray a paper towel down with cleaning solution to wipe my phone down which got covered in squid juice from the bait we used out on the Gulf.
