Jeremiah's Italian Ice — Restaurant in Orange City

Taking this opportunity to celebrate the 3 lovely young women working on Mother's Day through a wifi crash. While 1 was on the phone another was advising Patrons to order and pay on app as they could not ring orders up. No problem, right? It's 2025 and we all know how to do this. But no, 1 miserable woman had to make sure that everyone was as uncomfortable as she was. Instead of stepping away and pulling out her phone to place the order started the counter holding up the lines complaining how the company should be handling something and giving everyone who had to bother with doing the ordering and paying themselves free gelati and blah blah. The young woman who was handling all the customers and fulfilling all the orders simply turned away from her complaining and asked if she could help me, I already had my order paid for in the app and showed her she proceeded to very quickly made that. The bitter, complaining woman clearly got tired of having to do something for herself and walked off. Fortunately for that allowed the line to move again. This is a very stressful situation all the young women that work at this location are very attentive very fast very efficient very kind very friendly genuinely. I want to salute them. There was a fairly long line they were all working together and doing what they needed to do to keep things moving thanks and gratitude. Please...

I’ve been going to other Jeremiah’s Italian Ice location since I was a kid and I’ve always loved it as an adults. I’ve had the privilege to visit a couple of locations the experience, though always very similar as always a good one and the ice cream is always amazing. Thisss location on the other hand though it has been nice a few times I’ve been I recommend one thing if your ice cream taste weird say something.

I treated myself to a basic chocolate ice cream, which was served us fairly quickly, one bite and I could taste, that there was something off about it. My friend tasted it, and agreed with me that there was something wrong. I thought it might’ve just been me, but my friend being the godsends, she is took it back and explained our issue. She was met with a few confused looks as the employees tried to figure out amongst themselves who had changed the machine last and then a nonchalant “oh it’s expired”

They did give us a new one but honestly I couldn’t stomach it at that point so just remember IF IT TASTES LIKE A SOUR COW...

Reason why I leave this review is because of the young staff. The girl that assisted me did a good job however the other young girls that were working with her that we’re trying to help but we’re also busy socializing and messed up the order the first time around. I tell the young lady this is wrong and she proceeds to give me the correct one however the Italian nice is basically almost liquid. The young girl apologized profusely and still gave me the six dollar ice cream with melted Italian ice because she didn’t k ow what to do. If she had been trained properly she would have offered something different or offer a refund so I placed that on management and training. I took the item and threw it in the trash as it was a complete waste of money. Because of this experience I can say I would not be back at this location the one in the Deland...
