We had a very jarring experience at this establishment. My friend and I went in during lunch and the place was empty except a party of 3 at a table. We waited around the front at the “Please wait to be seated” sign for about 5 minutes without being acknowledged. Finally we caught the man sitting at the front’s attention and asked if we could sit. He said we need to wait until he served the other table food??? This was so odd because he wasn’t in the middle of serving them food and could have just told us to seat ourselves at the 6 open tables. Either way we left to give him some time, and came back 10 minutes later. We asked if we can be seated now and he said it didn’t make a difference whether we sat at the table or stood, and so he told us to stand. Again, so odd. I asked him once again if we can just sit and this time he says that he doesnt want to serve us because of my “attitude”. I was so shocked at this response because he was being dismissive towards us the entire time and we were so patient. We left without saying a word, and the man (who I assume to be the owner) kept yelling behind us. This was genuinely such a bizarre and unprofessional experience. I have never had a restaurant be so impolite, and on top of that REFUSE service, and all we wanted was to sit and wait at the table???? Completely rude and would not recommend giving...
Read moreWe got attacked in front of this restaurant last night by some random dude. (Police report filed btw) but the review isn’t about the food. It’s about the workers. this place has one of the most nasty female workers I’ve ever experienced in my life. Literally mocking us because we didn’t want the food that we ordered because someone literally attacked us outside. Instead of being helpful, when we asked if we could get a refund for the food we clearly weren’t going to eat because the police took us to get statements and blood was dripping down from everyone’s face, she decided to tell me that my job doesn’t matter (cause I said I work in customer service and this ain’t it) and use baby voice to repeat everything I had just told her. Just wild to me you can watch a 40+ year old man literally try sell us drugs outside this restaurant and when we said no we got blindly beaten and this is how the staff treated us. To the point where the manager had to come out after and apologize for her behavior and her words and still charged us for the hotdogs that were left there and weren’t eaten. (Mind you we would’ve ate them if this grown man didn’t punch this man in the face, ME in the face and shove the other girls down.)...

http://www.byblos.cafe/ FRESH, HEALTHY FOOD... SIMPLE AND DELICIOUS. Byblos Café, originally a Mediterranean market, has been a staple in the orange circle since the 50's. It was sold to Adel and Zalfa Mahshi in 1989. The family run business became a favorite in the town for Lebanese cuisine. Many locals loyally frequented the spot for their famous Turkish coffee.
In 2022, Daily Dose Hospitality, the crew that also runs Bosscat Kitchen & Libations, purchased the business from the family. While Adel and Zalfa had the opportunity to retire, their son, Tim, joined the team alongside Pedram Yazarlou as operating partners. They have transitioned the cuisine to a Mediterranean fusion style with influences from Greece, Turkey, Iran, Lebanon, & Jordan.
