Not sure why my review wasn’t posted. I was writing this again.
I was craving a steak dinner and I goggled restaurants to dine and saw all the great reviews. I really like to support small ma and pa restaurants.
I walked in and the music was too loud. As time went on through the whole experience the commercials were playing every 10 mins. That was very annoying.
No one greeted me. Even some customers saw me seated and said hi to me no one was at the door (thought I worked at the restaurant). You have to go to counter.
After I sat down it took while to take my order. One gentleman was eating his food.
Service I would give 1 star as I had to go 4-5 times to the counter to check my order (40 mins+) until it was served to me. (30 mins before my soda water came to the table). I ordered a med rare steak and it was raw with alittle sear on the sides. I ended eating 1/2 of my steak because I was hungry. No one asked me how my meal was or refilled anything.
For the food 1 star out of 5 stars (it’s a steak place how do you not know how to cook rare, med rare etc. Their excuse was they tested the temperature so it was cooked. Well it was still raw. I literally had amazing steak in Texas a few weeks ago and was craving steak again. They cook it perfectly.
There was issues with the wifi so I did without. Couldn’t get the right passcode to work. The music was playing too loud with commercials playing every 10 mins.
I rate the atmosphere 2 out of 5 stars. It was small and cute interior. Rustic of Romania throughout.
I had to go the counter to ask about a misunderstanding (side dishes), to get my check as well. They did comp my dessert but I had an horrible experience.
I still tipped 40%. Not sure if I will be back but if I go back I would expect better quality food preparation and better service.
It looked like they had one cook/help and one server/owner. They had one person eating. He got done by the time I got my food (40+ mins) and a couple who came as I was waiting for my food. They got their sodas before my drink. I was a there 20-30 before they arrived.
It seemed the server/owner was preoccupied with other things. It’s not about comp food. They didn’t charge my soda water and dessert. But still charge me for $60 steak. I waited a long time for drink and steak. Then the steak was raw. No one checked on me. I ended up putting my dishes on the table of the couple that left before me.
I had to say good bye as again they were preoccupied. The owner said I hope you enjoyed everything. I just said thanks and goodbye.
Overall my whole experience is one star. Maybe it was a “bad” day. Also I used to work in the restaurant industry many years ago and you don’t ever send your...

Read moreI was craving steak and I googled restaurants in the area. I saw all the good reviews and couldn’t wait for early dinner.
I arrived no one greeted me. It took awhile before someone to say hi to meet after I sat down. After I sat down it took awhile for someone to take my order. There was 1 other person in the restaurant at that time. It looked like it was one cook/help and one server/owner.
I’m all for small family owned restaurants and businesses. I was open to spending money due to I wanted to treat myself to a good steak dinner.
After I sat down and someone took my order I had to get my water. Took 30 mins for my drink. They forgot. Now I’ll focus on the food, service and atmosphere.
Food- I would give 1 star out of 5 stars. I steak was rare. I ordered med rare. I didn’t want to send it back because I worked in restaurant business and it’s better to deal with it. No one checked on me. I only ate 1/2 of it. They didn’t ask me how my meal was. I had to get up 4-5 times to ask for thing (was ready to order, my drink, check, my side was wrong (or misunderstood). I even had to say good bye and go to the counter.
The music was too loud and for a restaurant they should pay for no commercials. I was annoying to hear music play than every 10 mins it would go into commercials.
The food was poor (wasn’t cooked properly). The excuse was we used the temperature so it was cooked. It was raw with very little sear on it.
The service was 1 star out of 5. The amount of times I had to get up for everything. Didn’t check up on me. I had to go check it was 40 mins for my food and 30 mins I check for my water.
I still tipped 40% I understand people have an off day. I worked in restaurant business many years ago so I know it’s not easy but this was unexpectable. They did give my dessert on the house but that’s not acceptable for the service and preparation of the food.
I am not sure if I want to return. But I do I hope it will be better than I...
