I’ve always enjoyed In-N-Out in the past, but unfortunately this visit left me very disappointed. The issue wasn’t just that my order came out wrong — mistakes can happen anywhere — but how the situation was handled afterward.
When I pointed out the mistake, I expected a quick resolution. Instead, I ended up standing and waiting for more than 20 minutes, feeling ignored the entire time. It wasn’t until I became visibly upset that the staff even addressed it. At that point, the line cook hurriedly made the replacement, but in doing so pressed down on both the patty and the bun. The result was a dry piece of meat paired with a bun that had been squashed, over-toasted, and burnt.
By the time I finally received the corrected burger, the rest of my food had gone cold. To make matters worse, the replacement burger not only looked unappetizing but tasted like cardboard. This particular meal was meant for my son, and while he tried to eat it, he only managed half before giving up and tossing the rest — which says a lot, since he usually enjoys his meals here.
I understand mistakes happen, but what makes the difference is how quickly and properly they’re fixed. Unfortunately, this experience showed a lack of urgency, care, and attention to detail. In-N-Out usually sets the standard for quality and service, but this visit fell far short of what I’ve...
Read moreThis is my first time to this location and my expectations are nothing less than any other In-N-Out location, it was busy. I walked into the store and waited in line. Once it was finally my turn, Alvin had waved me down ready to take my order. As soon as I walked up to the register, he had asked me to wait a second and walked away. The girl next to him, Alexis, continued to take 2 more customers' orders as I patiently waited for Alvin to come back to take mine. I watched him walk back and forth up the kitchen and we had made eye contact at least once. I got fed up with waiting for him and stood behind another customer and was finally helped by Alexis. The lack of communication and customer service here are very disappointing. No one took the initiative to communicate when I was going to be helped, seemingly very unapologetic about it. The only thing that seemed to be acknowledged was the price and ticket number of my order. The fact that I was pushed back in line because I had to wait "a second" for someone I watched walk back and forth in the kitchen and around the corner of the wall behind the register to talk, is absolutely insane. I don't plan on coming back to this location till the next year when your staff has better developed people and communication skills or new staffing with better...
Read morei normally never write reviews but the service at this location was so exceptionally horrible that i felt compelled to leave one. i came in at around 2:15p-2:30p (12/29/24) and was helped by a younger brunette woman on the registers (i was order #35). it appeared that two of her male coworkers were visiting on their day off because they greeted several of the other workers and asked who the working manager was today. they stood behind me and were inaudibly trying to communicate with her while i was attempting to order. the woman "helping me" on the register could not focus for more than a few seconds because she spent the whole time giggling and watching them. she asked me to repeat my order 3 times and it was STILL wrong when i received it. the first time she repeated it back to me she added an extra item and i corrected her but i failed to catch that she actually added 2 additional items to my final order that i did not ask for. all i ordered were 2 plain patties, 1 cheese fry, and 1 regular fry; i received (& was charged for) an extra order of fries. i wish i would have kept my receipt so i could have gotten her name because her actions were beyond unprofessional...
