I recently ordered from Tuk Tuk Thai via Uber Eats for my 95-year-old mother, who is under medical care and has special dietary restrictions. She has been craving Thai food but has difficulty with certain textures due to her age. I was so impressed with how accommodating Tuk Tuk Thai was with my special requests!

I ordered the Pad See Ew and Yellow Curry. In the notes, I asked for the Pad See Ew to be made without Chinese broccoli, substituting bean sprouts instead, and for the Yellow Curry to have softer vegetables. They fulfilled both requests perfectly!

My mom was absolutely thrilled to finally enjoy a delicious meal that catered to her dietary needs. She said it was excellent, and coming from her, that's high praise! She's an incredible cook herself, with expertise in Southeast Asian cuisine (Malaysian, Thai, Indian, etc.). Even at 95, she knows good food when she tastes it.

This experience reminded me that sometimes it's not just about the food, though thankfully Tuk Tuk Thai has great food! It's also about the service and the willingness to be considerate of individual needs. Thank you, Tuk Tuk Thai, for going above and beyond to make my mom's day (and mine!). My wife and I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a service that left much to be desired. From the start, the atmosphere was unpleasant, with a noticeable lack of customer-centric approach. Now, it isn't all the staff. The older lady is quite generous and kind. Showing customer service skills. It is the younger lady that is constantly on her cellphone that displayed a consistently bad attitude, making the entire interaction uncomfortable. This is not the first time we encountered this. Reason for my review.

It was disheartening to witness such a disregard for customer satisfaction when this place is quite new to our city. The younger ladys dismissive attitude only exacerbated the situation, leaving my wife and I feeling frustrated and undervalued.

I believe constructive criticism is crucial, so I hope this establishment takes the necessary steps to address their shortcomings. A focus on improving customer service and fostering a more positive atmosphere could greatly benefit both the business and its patrons. I ordered the Chicken pad thai (Medium Spice) not thai level spice so if I do come back, definitely getting spicy with extra spice on the side. The space inside makes you feel like you're transported back to Thailand (there was a cab in the front of the menu screen) and limited seating, a couple of tables outside. Overall rating, 4.6 stars for me, I know google doesn't give me the options for the point six.
