LOVE THE FOOD AND THE SERVICE, THEY GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY.. EDITED 3/6/19CAPS FOR VISION.. 7 YRS EATING ATLEAST ONCE A WEEK IF NOT MORE AND ALWAYS THE SAME DISH TO MAKE IT EASIER ON COOKS (SPINACH CREPE)... TODAY I LEFT HUNGRY, EMBARRASED, SHAKING AND IN TEARS FROM WAITRESS AND OWNER ATTITUDES TOWARD ME AFTER RETURNING FOOD NOT COOKED HOW I ORDERED.. BUSBOY STOPPED CLEANING TO BRING PLATE OUT TO ME (AS MY WAITRESS TALKED TO ANOTHER TABLE ABOUT HER HERITAGE AND SKIN AGING PRODUCTS SHE SELLS) I SENT BACK CREPE, IT NEEDED MORE TIME ON ONE SIDE.. THE WAITRESS BROUGHT CREPE OUT AND IT WAS BLACK ON ONE SIDE (I RETURNED FOR ONE SIDE NOT COOKED PROPERLY) AND WELL ON THE OTHER. WAITRESS TOOK CREPT BACK TO KITCHEN TO FILL AND TOLD COOKS "PERFECT" WHEN SHE RETURNED TO MY TABLE I TOLD HER IT WAS NOT PERFECT AS I HEARD HER TELL COOKS BUT THAT DUE TO TIME AND HUNGER I WAS GOING TO EAT IT.. BLACK SIDE CRUMBLED OFF AND CREPE WAS NOT WELL DONE, HOLLENDAIS* SAUCE WAS OILY AND SEPARATED DUE TO BEING MICROWAVED, WHEN I ASKED WAITRESS WHY THE MICROWAVE WITH ATTITUDE I WAS TOLD "WELL ITS AFTER HOURS".. I TOLD HER CREPE WAS BEYOND BURNT AND NOT COOKED UNDERNEATH BURNED AREAS AND SHE GOT UPSET AND STARTED SAYING SOMETHING, I STOPPED BY SAYING I DIDNT WANT TO ARGUE AND SHE WALKED TO KITCHEN UPSET AND COMPLAINING TO COOKS ABOUT MY ORDER AND WENT TO SPEAK TO OWNER ( OWNER IN BACK AREA AND OUT OF SITE AND HEARING LATER SAYS WAITRESS WAS NOT TALKING ABOUT ME ALTHOUGH I COULD HEAR HER COMPLAINING TO COOKS ABOUT ME BEFORE LOOKING FOR OWNER).. I THEN ASKED FOR A MANAGER, (OWNER CAME TO MY TABLE) DUE TO WAITRESS ATTITUDE.. WHEN I ASKED WHY THE MICROWAVED OILY SAUCE (I COME TO A RESTAURANT NOT EXPECTIG ANYTHING MICROWAVED, OWNER SAID IT WAS PUT IN REFRIGERATOR DUE TO CLOSING TIME AND NEEDED TO BE HEATED IN MICROWAVE) I FEEL I SHOULD HAVE BEEN ADVISED (WITH OPTION TO DECLINE ) I WOULD BE RECIEVING MICROWAVED FOOD.. OWNER ACCUSED ME MANY TIMES OF BEING HERE LAST WEEK (I WAS HERE, NOT SITTING WHERE HE KEPT POINTING AND IM NOT THE PERSON HE KEPT CONFUSING ME WITH) (ATLEAST 3 TIMES HE MENTIONED ME RETURNING PLATE AND SAID I SAID I WOULD FIX IT MYSELF AT HOME, AFTER TELLING HIM MANY TIMES I NEVER SAT WHERE HE IS SAYING I TOLD HIM TO LOOK AT VIDEOS TO PROVE IT WAS NOT ME AND OBVIOUSLY ANOTHER CUSTOMER FROM LAST WEEK, HE SAID "OK MAYBE IT WASNT YOU") HE COMPLAINED THAT I MAKE THEM THROW FOOD AWAY (HAPPENED TWICE IN 7 YRS DUE TO WAITRESSES NOT BRINGING CREPE BEFORE FILLING AS I ALWAYS ASK AT ANY RESTARAUNT DUE TO HEALTH ISSUES).. I HAVE NEVER SAT IN AREA OWNER KEPT POINTING TO, HE KEPT RAISING HIS VOICE AT ME RED FACED AND UPSET WITH ME INSTEAD OF HIS CORRECTING EMPLOYEES THAT DO NOT DO AS CUSTOMER ASKED.. AFTER ASKING MANY TIMES WHY HE IS YELLING AT ME AS OTHER CUSTOMERS ARE WATCHING HIM EMBARASS ME FOR HIS WAITRESS AND COOK SERVING OVERBURNT BLACK CREPE OWNER THEN ANGRILY TOOK BOTH PLATES OF MY FOOD FROM ME AND WALKED AWAY UPSET... OWNER SAYS HE WILL TALK TO MANAGER MATT TO SEE HOW HE NEVER GETS ORDER WRONG (IN 7 YRS) MAT IS A BEYOND AWESOME MANAGER (FRIENDLY AND RESPECTFUL UNLIKE OWNER, DOES NOT CONFUSE ME WITH OTHERS, ACCUSE O RIDICULE ME FOR SENDING BACK CREPE WHEN NEED BE) NEVER GETS MY ORDER WRONG, WILL GO INTO KITCHEN HIMSELF AND COOK CREPE IF NEED BE TO INSURE IT IS TO MY TASTE (NEVER EVER YELLING AT ME O OFFENDING AS OWNER DID TODAY) ME UNFORTUNATELY HES ON VACATIONS MY LAST 2 VISITS.. SECOND TIME I HAVE SEEN OWNER IN 7 YRS AND HE TREATS ME WITH DISRESPECT AN PURPOSELY EMBARASSES ME YELLING AT ME IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS(I NEVER ONCE RAISED MY VOICE WAS CRYING DUE TO EMBARRASMENT).. THIS VISIT WAS THE WORST TREATMENT I HAVE EVER...

I had some time to kill and noticed this place near me. I walked over and was let in 5 minutes after opening time (opening was 7:00 a.m.) I was greeted by Jennifer and was told to sit anywhere I liked. Since I walked in right after they opened I was seated right away.

Since I walked in right after they opened it was just me for the moment that Monday morning.

The service/ waitress Jennifer was nice and attentive toward me and gave me a menu and a glass of water in just a minute upon sitting.

It was my first time eating here so I just got something simple. I ordered the simple bacon and eggs. Had my eggs scrambled. Included with three pancakes.

I had to wait about 8 to 10 minutes for my order. I was a little bothered by waiting but it was fair compared to other places.

While I was waiting I looked around the dining area. It looked really cozy and homely.

My booth was super comfortable. There was comfortable cushions underneath the seatings of the booths and the chairs. So while I waited I was super comfortable.

I liked how the restaurant looked on the inside. It just looked nice. Lots of booths and tables and seatings too.

When my order arrived it came with my own thing of syrup and butter.

The eggs were good. Simple but not bad at all and done to my liking. Had good texture and were not too thin or too thick. Just right. Tasted good. I forgot to ask if they would have charge extra with cheese on the scrambled eggs....Mmmm.

I loved the bacon. The three stripes were bigger and thicker than I had anticipated. The bacon was also cooked just right. Not too black and not too raw. Just right. They tasted good.

The egg and bacon portions was a bit more than I had anticipated and I was really pleased with the portion. I got full from just a bacon and eggs and had to take the pancakes home. I ate them for lunch. They tasted good. I liked them. They were fluffy.

Not a bad place. And pretty decent food. And a nice and intentive server.

My only complaint is that even for an order so simple. It was rather expensive in my book. About $13 for eggs and bacon. The order did include three pancakes. I wonder if the bill would have been less if I ask them not to include the pancakes.

OK.... I probably ordered the wrong meal. That was my main gripe, the portions for the ham steak and eggs was WEAK. $15 for that small plate, the eggs looked so small. The ham was ok, but also not the biggest. It did not warrant the $15 price tag at all. The only saving grace was the pancakes. I had the pancakes on the side, no special toppings. I decided to eat 1 pancake since my meal left me wanting. I topped it with the whipped butter, and syrup. MY GOODNESS! That one pancake hit the spot 100000%. I am on a strict diet, but i ate a second (it came with 3 street taco tortilla sized PCs) one because I know i would regret it if i didn't. I have to learn how they make those. Seriously tho, the pancake was grilled just right, crispy and still moist inside. The batter was yellowish which I am guessing is how they got that rich flavor. I would go back and get a heartier meal, like the omelettes or the scramble and a side of normal pancakes next time. ---- Owners, please increase the portion of the ham steak eggs meal. Also, please do not change the pancakes. P.S. please teach me how to make those pancakes! I will work one morning making them for you...
