Tikiyaki — Restaurant in Orange

Parking: They’re located in a medium sized plaza. Plenty of free parking. Easy to find.

Ambiance/Environment: It’s pretty small inside with 5 tables. They also have outdoor seating. There are constant customers coming in and out.

Service: Our cashier was efficient and courteous. The cooks were quick and efficient. We received our order under 5 minutes.

What we ordered:

1. Coconut Shrimp Plate - I ordered this plate with brown rice. All plates are served with an egg roll and salad. There were 6 coconut shrimps. I honestly thought the shrimps tasted okay. Nothing special about them. They tasted like the frozen coconut shrimps from Costco. The brown rice was cooked well, and the egg roll was delicious.

2. Chicken & Beef Plate - My partner ordered this. They were very generous with the protein! The chicken and beef were marinated well and had lots of flavor. I liked his plate better than mine lol.

Pricing: The Chicken & Beef Plate was $11.99, and the Coconut Shrimp Plate was $12.99. Prices are pretty cheap for the amount you get. I’d say it’s worth it. I wouldn’t get the Coconut Shrimp Plate...

Portion was decent. Sauce very mediocre Veggies were whatever’s Sauce bottles pretty dirty Eating area extra small Chicken delicious Sanitary situation here is questionable Service is bad Didn’t offer me any brown rice or green onions and I hate white rice I had a large clump that was hard and stuck together very disgusting hence the low price here Leftovers Forsure. Not certain if because not good enough or a good portion Had to drown my food over and over again with sauces and it didn’t hit the spot The portion and pricing will keep me coming back though. Go to Kings teriyaki in Yorba linda for higher quality food, sauce, dining room, service and everything else.

Guaranteed no leftovers! It’s that good!

But my last visit the worker was a tard and didn’t make my second order and never gave me my habanero teriyaki sauce and just gave me Siracha I asked for extra green onions and hardly ever get any.... service here is...

One of our favorite places to order take out for a light lunch or dinner. I usually get the teriyaki chicken bowl with veggies and brown rice and sauce on the side...oh and sriracha hot sauce a must have! Hubby gets beef teriyaki on white rice with veggies! They offer a lunch special that includes a soft drink. I absolutely love the Volcano Shrimp and usually order it ala carte...delicious! It's very convenient to phone in our order to go and zip over to pick it up vs waiting in line...there's always a line😁 We love this place!!! They offer dinner platters of their food but the bowls are just right for us...if you have a bigger appetite then order the dinner platter about $1.50 to $3.00 more depending on what you order and you get a nice Asian salad and egg roll with it..also pretty...
