Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Orange

So I'm one of those people that's pretty obsessed with Chipotle and will argue with my husband about how the price is totally worth it for what you get. However, today I went in and ordered my usual steak burrito that I get. Brown rice, black beans, steak, the green salsa, sour cream, cheese, lettuce. I had asked for extra steak, received an extra small scoop, but eating the burrito I was having a hard time even getting a piece of steak with my bites. It was dry, and filled with beans and rice, really bland, and almost tasted plastic like. About half way through I bit into something hard and sharp, I couldn't tell if it was a piece of chicken bone or a stem from a chili in the salsa, either way I couldn't finish my $8 burrito after that. Not to mention by the time I made it to my car (my husband was driving) and started to dig into my burrito it was already pretty cold (didn't care figured I'd microwave it when I got home, no biggie) needless to say I am a very very disappointed fan of chipotle right now, and couldn't even finish the burrito so it was a waste of the $8 unfortunately. Horrible experience! Talk about disgusting filth! Wife and I went in for dinner. 6:40pm 03/01/2025. Being that I was focused on the menu, I honestly did not look at the place till we waited for our order and my wife went to the restroom to wash her hands. The trash cans were overflowing, the floors were dirty, tables were filthy. My wife comes back from the restroom and said it was absolutely disgusting and the floors were full of urine! All while one employee just stood behind the counter doing NOTHING! Not sure if its his job to keep an eye over the shoulder of the cashier but that all he did! The only time he moved was to get on his cell phone. Is it possible that at this time and on a Sunday there are just no managers? This will be the one and only time I step into...

Let me preface this first with, I eat chipotle about 3-4 times a week all around so Cal. I usually stay in Ketosis so it’s one of the only places I can fill up on food without an abundance of carbs. Ive been constantly shorted on stuff here at this location. Also don’t recommend the Irvine spectrum location. These guys literally give half a guac amount that other ones give. If you want a fair share make sure to ask for it on the side, so they are forced to fill up the entire plastic container.

If you want to get hooked up goto the UCI location. They know you’re hungry and will take care of you.
