I always love to give all business a great review. But, not at this time and I explain why: Since I've been driving for Uber Eats for a while, I just left Wendy's tonight, I had an order to pick up for a customer around 10:35pm and left disappointed without the order. Not Wendy's faulty, since I understand the rules and the doors closed at 10pm. The line was big. So, I called inside to ask if I had to stay in line since there was a phone order. The girl said yes. So, there I was for a long time when a car cut the line in front. Well, when the girl asked for my order, again, I explained to her that I was there to pick up the order. To my surprise, she told me there was no order for the customer's name, Marc. So, I drove straight to the window to show Uber an order from my phone. But then, she told me the order was picked up two hours before. I asked her how it could be possible if Uber sent me the order 1/2 hour ago, and I went straight there and again. She told me they had no order by the name. To end up the story, for some reason, I think the guy who cut the line had something to do with the entire situation. After working 13 hous, I wasted my time, my gasoline , my patience, and I was very disappointed to release, more and more, people refuse to...
Read moreI ordered a medium drink with no ice. The worker handed me a medium sized cup which was less than full. I politely asked if he could fill the cup to the top. I did not in any way expect this to be a big deal. However, the worker said no, and then proceeded to say that without ice the cup shouldn't have been as full as it was, pointing to a line on the cup about 3 inches below the brim (suggesting he was doing me a favor by giving me what he gave me). I indicated that this has never been my experience after decades of eating at Wendys. He then got a manager who repeatedly pointed to the lower line on the cup regardless of my comments, literally saying "You see this line?" no matter what I said. I ultimately took the drink and left. I will be following up with the owner. I believe that when you pay for a certain sized beverage, then in essence you are legally entitled to that sized drink of your choice. The presence of ice is not mentioned as part of the purchase on the menu, thus it is essentially offered as a courtesy for customers who prefer a very cold drink. This courtesy, when declined, should not result in receiving less of the purchased beverage. I will be...
Read moreUpdate about this place. I gave it another chance. Still failed me. I can't even say it's really the food. It's the employees I bought this new frosty caramel crunch fusion. . They couldn't even make it look pretty like the picture just stuff .thrown on top of a vanilla frosty? So sorry I'll stick to Springfield on Morris Turnpike take care how they make your food. It's always fresh, no crowds, no wait time The caramel on top for $5 and it's so small for a medium And that ain't even the issue. The issue is Damien didn't even seem to careThere are 2 Wendy's in my area this one and Central Ave both of them are slow. I only come to this one because the one on Central Avenue tries to give you cold food, and if you ask for hot food, they get a attitude . You go through the drive through, you sit there. 30 to 40 minutes the line be around the block. This is a fast food restaurant. I have worked in fast food places. There is none slower than this and White Castle. I have been sent here thirty minutes already Just to go...
