KFC — Restaurant in Oregon City

Stopped here on the way back to Vancouver. Food was good, temperature was spot on, but the service was a little lacking. At the drive -up speaker, I ordered a 4-piece tenders with honey-mustard, a spicy chicken sandwich ala carte, a chicken sandwich combo, and two drinks. Was ask if i wanted a 12-piece tender, which I replied no, a 4-piece. Speaker rattled off something fast and halfway indecipherable, so I repeated the order. Got to the window and handed them my card, they ran it, handed me two drinks, and asked for me to pull around as they were making new tenders. Not a problem. They came out within the 4-minutes as promised, and handed us our bags: two sandwiches, fries, and a box. No receipt, but again no problem because AMEX will text me the receipt. About halfway home, AMEX let me know that our bill was $43.97. which seemed to me to be more than twice much as I expected Taking a closer look, we realized that we had a 12-piece tender box and no honey mustard sauce. Not what I tried to order, and it shouldn't have been that hard. Anyway, tomorrow, we'll make the best of it, make up mashed potatoes, veggies and reheat the extra chicken tenders I tried...

05/31/19: 4.0 out of 5 - This location isn't so bad. The food was typical of any KFC, but I do like some of the newer selections and combinations that KFC has. Price-wise isn't so bad if you think about the Grand scheme of things.

But, let's talk about the crew. In my humble opinion, the various individuals that I've interacted with, for the most part, all have been very nice to me. I'm sure they don't come across too many Asians in Oregon City. The crew deserves more credit than what people give them. First off, the KFC is next to the public transit center and not too far from the Clackamas County Courthouse. I'm sure they have to put up with A LOT of characters, and try to do it with a smile day in and day out. On top of that, keep the establishment clean while so many individuals come in for water and to use the bathroom without ordering anything.

It's not the best KFC in Oregon, but the establishment meets the standard. If you happen to be in the area, then it's worth a visit to have some chicken, some sides, a cold drink in an AC establishment with free WiFi and decent...

So I'm not even lying when I say I had to come in to use the restroom. The lady at the front took her time but I was okie with that until her passive aggressive attitude popped up. She said most time they only let customers but she let me in. Literally as she openned it you saw the plunger on the rim of the bowl, not the seat was up. I stared for a moment after she left and then went and asked if someone was perhaps in the middle of cleaning it. She said no then I mentioned the inside of the restroom and she was confused but appeared aggravated and said she'd clean it up. Eventually she passed by me again and made the comment ' I'm just getting gloves is that okay?' In a rather harsh tone. Instead of her coming out, someone in the kitchen came out and cleaned it. When finished he did not wash his hands, no gloves, but did communication that the other restroom was out of order. Unlike the woman prior. Anyways my point being, unsanitary, hostile environment as well as probably some OHFS violations. Would not be surprised if any other violation...
