Not the Subway you remember. Horrible management has resulted in a complete and utter fail rate of 100% (4/4) online ordering.
EVERY single time there has been far less meat than just a regular order.
eg Ordering a Titan Turkey (which is 33%+ more meat, and more cheese), and ordering DOUBLE meat, has resulted in 3 slices of turkey, on a foot long.
Ordering double meat, 50% meat, or a sub that comes with extra meat simply doesn't work. It's always far less meat than ordered, resulting in a flat sub. And their prices have increased, so you are paying more for much, much less.
Not sure why this is complicated, or if the employees are told to rip off online orders, but it has happened 4/4 times over the last 3 months. We complained about it this last time on pickup (learned to check the subs before leaving), and they were hesitant to fix. They said they could, but it may take 30 mins to do. ??? 30 mins? for a sub fix? We asked to just add the proper amt of meat on the existing subs to save time. Something that they aren't supposed to do (take sandwiches back and "fix"), and they did. Saving us time, but resulted in them violating code.
Remember the meatball sub? Where you needed to take more than 1 bit usually of the meatball due to its size. They are a now extremely small (just smaller than a quarter). Opening up the sub looks weird as the meatballs are so small they sit deep inside the bread. SO much extra bread now due to how small the meatballs are.
I don't know if it is all Subways or just this one, but it's one of the worst food places in the area, if not the worst now.
Staff can't (or won't) make sandwiches correctly, staff are rude and unaccommodating, different staff every single time you go in (extremely high turnover), there's never a manager or owner on site, etc.
The place is a joke. Stay away,...
Read moreI deliver DoorDash and picked up a order at the store last night and the person making the sandwiches had not made the one for my delivery order which was going being delivered to an assisted living place in West Linn. The person making the sandwiches brought out another DoorDashers order they were picking up. He was wearing gloves and touch the door handle going out when opening the door and went out and handed the order to the DoorDashers. Then was petting a homeless person's dog. He then pulled the door open went back in was touching his face. On top of it he didn't have his face covering over his face. Then proceeded to make the customers sandwiches without changing his gloves after he had just touched all those things. Every time they do something else besides making the food they should be putting on new gloves. I called the customer and told them what had went on and sent them pictures of him wearing a face mask which is unacceptable during Covid! Any of your customers wanting to go get Subway should think twice before going to the store! I have pictures to prove that he was not wearing a face mask and even shows him touching his face with the gloves he had on his hand when he's making people's sandwiches! Doesn't make me want to go eat Subway! Gross!!!! I have tried to call the store manager but every time I called the phone just disconnects me!!! This store should be shut down!!! Wish I could attach the pictures to this review! If you do go here please make sure the person puts on clean gloves before they make your sandwich!!!! By the way this was like at 2:30 in the morning! So whoever was working probably works late nights! Just wanted to share this! Do not order from this location if you order from any of the food delivery services such...
Read moreVery disappointing experience just now at Oregon City Subway. Its hard trying to get a meal to go with food allergies.
I stopped in today and my request was simple an order of gluten free bread to go and and order of double steak meat which they would put on a steak and cheese sandwich (to go). I do this weekly at just about every subway around even this one on several occasions. I do this in order to make the sandwich in my kitchen to avoid any cross contamination. This transaction usually takes less than a minute but today " Debra " the manager of all people, refused my order. She told me that she was not able to accommodate my order and the only way to fulfill my order was to let them make the sandwich in house.
She then proceeded to try to give me the 3rd degree on why I would request such a thing and seemed more interested in escalating an argument then resolving the simplest of all requests. She refused to even hand me a packet of the bread still enclosed in the package and put two orders of steak in a cup with a lid.
Subway---- Your former Manager of the Happy Valley store and new Manager of the Gladstone location (Layna Preston) is as good as gold and has been a shining light of customer service for years. You should really send Debra to get more training.....She was...
