Monkey's Subs Tanasbourne — Restaurant in Oregon

Have been here three times and really enjoying it. I, as usual, just order the same thing over and over (turkey and provolone) but my BF has tried a few different things. The toppings are fresh, the staff is the normal amount of friendliness. I used to really like the turkey and provolone from Jimmy John's, but since I haven't eaten there in years, this is a great substitute. They're not super cheap, but if you want the cheapest sandwich option, go to 7-11 next door or Subway.

Not sure how I feel about the way they cut their subs. They cut the bread fully in half, so your toppings can spill out on both sides, instead of just trying to keep your toppings wedged in one side of the bread. But it's fine.

I will say the last time we went in and both got the same size of sandwich (I forget if it was 6" or 8"), before we ate them, I had commented that mine looked bigger than his, and when we compared them side by side, my sandwich was longer than my BF's. It wasn't a huge deal, but something I'll...

I am very disappointed! I have been a fan of Monkey's Subs since the beginning. I still remember my Number that was on the wall at the O.G. Subs. I have been ordering from Jersey Mike's lately because over the last few years our sandwiches have been wrong about 70% of the time. YES, my girlfriend orders a weird sandwich (BLT. No Bacon with tons of cheese), but it seems like you always screw up my sandwich (Barrel of Monkey add Pickle & Pepercini). It's not hard! It's a normal Barrel with the addition of Pickle and Pepercini. This day you forgot ALL the veggies, all the good stuff like mayo, mustard, oil, vinegar as well as the addition of pickles and pepercinis. Basically I got meat and bread with a tiny slice of cheese. I was all about the expansion but the quality is trash now. Bread always chewy like it's a day old. I NEVER get what we order. I am done with...

I've been coming to monkey subs for 7 or 8 years at this point and there's a reason for that. The subs are great and they have been for as long as I can remember. I recommend the turkey bacon avocado and my friend got the BLT (toasted) and liked it! Get the default list of toppings because it adds a lot of depth to the flavor.

The service has always been great here. The staff are kind and efficient and I've never waited longer than 10 minutes to get my sandwich.

The ambiance is off right now but that's only because they're renovating right now. The best part of the ambiance has always been the music! They are always playing the best beats and have been for almost a decade.
