I woke up craving tacos!! (Story of my lifeš¤). I had been eyeing a taco stand for a while now so I decided to go. To my good fortune (unfortunate in the moment), the taco stand was closed when I got there so i decided to drive an extra 25 minutes to a taco restaurant. On my way there I noticed this taco truck that caught my eye so I quickly changed my mind and parked my car. What I though was an unfortunate day ended up being a gift! It led me to this taco truck and let me tell you they have THE best Mexican authentic tacos Iāve ever had in utah! So flavorful and juicy!! I had the steak and rib tacos and omg they were to die for!! The salsas were amazing, customer service was amazing even my picky daughter fell in love with their food and the atmosphere, so that says a lot! Iām so full and Iām still wanting more! Iām definitely coming back!! Itās worth the 25 minute drive!! Check them out you wonāt regret it! It will now be a weekly staple for me! š (4 month update!!!) I went back to the taco truck only to find out they were moving locationsā¦not far from where they were originally but I went back and found a restaurant instead of a taco truck! I was so happy! It meant they were opening for longer days and hours! But at the same time the fear kicked in. Every time I find a taco truck that upgrades to a restaurant the tacos change and not in a good way š¬ā¦but let me tell you fabulosos tacos did not disappoint! Their tacos did not change! They are still as amazing as ever! Not only are they amazing, the atmosphere is fun and the service is amazing!! I am so lucky to have found this gem! š ( btw presentation was better but I was already two tacos in when I realized I meant to take a picture)! Anyways to summarize this whole essay, itās safe to say that they are as fabulous as they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām not a huge fan of Mexican food but these street tacos were delicious. I love trying street tacos everywhere I can, especially food trucks because they seem to be better, but this place puts many of them to shame. The staff was friendly and willing to help give suggestions to ensure that youāre getting the best deal possible (ex. Turning things into combos to save you money).
I got the combo 3 which is 4 street tacos and a soda can for $11, which is a great price point for the food. I got 2 Asada and 2 Pastor street tacos, which comes with half a jalapeƱo and grilled onions. They have a little cart for your raw onions, limes, etc as well. The meat in every taco was moist and extremely flavorful. I also tried my friendās birria and it was also on point.
The only downside that I could see some people struggling with is it can get a bit noisy and the establishment is so big that not everyone can hear the chefās call out order numbers. On top of this, they call things out primarily in Spanish so if you arenāt up to par with your Spanish numbers, you may not know when your food is ready.
Overall, Iād highly recommend this place if you are nearby and in the mood for some good...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWHAT IS THIS!??? This is probably the best taco place in the entire state of Utah, and in my top 4 greatest taco experiences of my entire life. Break it down dish by dish (I'm so excited to come back and try other things! Ribs on tacos?? How did I miss that!?)
Tacos Fabulosos: HUGE stuffed taco with an incredibly seasoned combo of pastor and asada. Somehow they've captured the joy of birria tacos with consome in one taco. š¤Æ
Mulita: such a wonderful surprise. It's like a mini torta oozing with delicious cheese and meat, fabulous crunch too!
Quesataco Camaron (shrimp): this was possibly my favorite (all sooo good) but it was like they had made a mini quesadilla with shrimp. And the sauce on the outside was š.
Street taco: I had an asado one. Cooked so expertly, and fresh!
Bonus: salsa bar. Ok, I LOVED these. Their creamy Verde sauce (avocado) had a unique flavor with a hint of lime. So good! I also loved their salsa Verde. They had two red sauces, I tried the more clear of the two, kind of a habanero one? So good too!
Will be coming here...
