Our breakfast foods were delishious . I had Mike's meaty skillet which had ham , sausage , and small squares of their super yummy bacon , and square harbor potatoes , and 2 eggs on top with mont erayjack n cheddar . Comes with an english muffin which was so good too ! They have a special spice grinder at the table which I tried on my breakfast and that was also good. They make their own mixture of grape and strawberry jelly which is really smooth and I gotta say I was leary about trying it because it just didn't sound good , but I did try it and I was pleasantly surprised ! My friend had the avocado toast and she inhaled it ! She loved it !! The place is bigger than it looks from the outside . They have tables and booths . We went on a Wednesday bout 1pm and it was very busy . They close at 2 pm , we weren't gone by 2 but they didn't rush us out at all . The staff was really nice and friendly . It has the high industrial look ceiling so it's kinda noisy plus from it being busy .You can always order to go if you don't want the noise . We will be going again for sure and trying something else on the menu . If you don't like what you see, you can design your own dish ! They have specialty loose leaf teas and drinks . Check out their menu and see what you think !! Also handicap parking .PS I'm editing because I forgot to tell you about the homemade cream of chicken with wild rice .... after asking n receiving a sample taste me and my friend ordered some to go , I got the big quart n my friend took a small one home , we both loved it . I just had some for breakfast today and there's enough for 2 more meals for me . It was so frickin good ! I'll get more to go next time when we go back ! It took me 40 mins one way but we'll worth it ! Also forgot to say it was clean ! Thanks guys for our two great meals !! We'll be back ! And next time...
Read moreWe decided to try egg harbor today for the first time and overall enjoyed the experience. The space was nice, a lot of natural light, but a little cramped in places. We ordered the banana bread french toast, breakfast burrito, a skillet, and cinnamon swirl pancakes. I really enjoyed the fact that they have their own salt blend grinder on the table. It paired nicely with my skillet. They also have a "signature" jam they prepare for the English muffins that was fantastic! It seemed like they also had a multitude of gluten free and healthier options as well which i thought was really neat. It was a little pricey but what isn't these days? $90 for 4 of us for drinks and food, no extra bells and whistles. Unfortunately, the only thing we didn't care for was the service. Trish was a very transactional server and didn't have much personality. We were just sliding into our booth when she came and asked what we wanted for drinks. Prompt, yes... But I've never been here (she didn't know because she didn't ask) I hadn't ever seen the menu so I didn't even know what they had. When the food came, she came over and said, "enjoy...." she didn't ask if we had everything or needed anything and walked away. All things considered, the food was good enough to bring us back for another shot. It would be nice to have a more personable...
Read moreNOT HANDICAP FRIENDLY!! I use a walker and found it extraordinarily difficult to get to a table. I actually had to ask someone who was eating to stand up and move her chair just so I could get by. That is absolutely absurd. It was embarrassing for me and inconvenient for that person. The restaurant is so crowded, that you can barely move your chair without hitting the person at the next table. It is obvious that NO thought was given to people with disabilities. Through most of the meal, I worried about how I would get back out of the restaurant because there were more people coming in and it was even more overcrowded. On the way out, I had to go through a very narrow hallway to get to the exit door and there were about 15 people that had to flatten themselves against the wall so I could get through and I barely missed running over people‘s toes because there was simply not enough room. I will never come to this restaurant again because it is extraordinarily inconvenient. I couldn’t even have gotten to the table if I was in my wheelchair. It was also very loud, and I could barely hear anybody at our table. I wish now that I took pictures of how ridiculous the situation was, but I really couldn’t because I had to be careful not to hit people with my walker. How this place passed inspection, I...
