First off, this place is exactly what its name entails. I have to come to Orlando once a month for work, and I am always scoping out a new spot. It's too easy to go to the same places and eat the same cuisine. My 2 rules are no chains and no repeats. Bad As's Sandwhich breaks rule number 2 for me. Ever since, I've found this place on Instagram in the middle of COVID. I've been wanting to try. December of '21 was the first trip. I ordered "The Knight" on my first visit. I was already keen on the delicate and alluring plating and design of the restaurant shows on their webpage, so that was not of the worry. The real investigation was the construction and quality of the sandwich. "The Knight" is described as "House-Roasted Ribeye, black pepper bacon, tater tots, caramelized onions, baby greens, smoked cheddar, saffron aioli." This is a great description of the sandwich; however, it doesn't describe how well the unification of the aioli, ribeye, black pepper, and carmelized onions are. The black pepper and saffron aioli provide the subtle kick to the Ribeye that all great beef needs, while the onions accompaniment bring the sweet and savory piquancy, only "The Knight" would deliver. On the second trip, I went big. I ordered the DVS 2.0. While the char grilled wagyu flank steak is the eye catcher, the star of the show would be the truffle infused manchego cream. The manchego cream was creamy and perfectly balanced with hints of garlic and herb, all while giving a slight nutty and mushroomy taste from the truffle. The rucola (arugula) gives you some sort of health from being a vegetable, but it too has a hint of spice that pairs well with the manchego, the perfect taste bud tantalizer for wanting to go deeper into the sandwhich. Don't overlook the steak, though. I'm not really else sure what to say other than it was perfectly cooked wagyu. This definitely ain't your dad's steak sandwhich Mom used to make. This is a must on my pitstops to Orlando now and one of the things I look to when on business travel.

Bad As’s Sandwich has a name it DESERVES! Their sandwiches are some of the best in all of Orlando! I saved this place for so long and never got around to checking it out, and I am so happy I finally did. Their food is so, so good. We (as a group of 3) got the IRA, Killer, and Ya-Mon. We got some plantains, pork rinds, house-made potato chips, and French fries as sides. Literally everything was perfect! The IRA was a unique twist on a classic corned beef and pastrami - it was a bit spicier than normal, but I think I like that even better! The Killer was just amazing - fried chicken, hot honey, cheese, and more! Who wouldn’t love that?! And then the Ya-Mon was the best one! So many amazing flavors unlike anything we’d ever eaten before. I am craving this particular sandwich so much now that I’ve tried it once. I’ll have to get it again one of these next couple of days! As for the sides, everything was amazing. The pork rinds were my favorite just because they had an excellent seasoning on them and they came with a really good dip that enhanced the pork rinds so much more. The French fries were just really good classic fries, chips were really good classic kettle chips, and the plantains were exactly what plantains should taste like. We had absolutely no complaints and we are all dying to come back! Check this place out ASAP because you are missing out every single day you are not here!!

This afternoon was our second visit to this awesome sandwich shop in the Milk District of Orlando. We ordered the Mafioso which is thinly sliced, shaved beef, fontina, pickled onions and sun-dried tomato aioli, The Minion which is a grilled cheese featuring havarti served with house-made chips, fontina and Gouda cheeses with house made chips and we each ordered a cup of Tomato Bisque soup. First, these sandwiches are full on flavor and different than anything we’ve experienced at other sandwich shops. The only only critique for me was that the Mafioso had too much sun-dried tomato aioli. I’ll just either remember to as for light aioli or just take some off myself. The grilled cheese was very nice and super flavorful. The soup wasn’t super hot and it was really creamy with a nice flavor, melted cheese in the bottom and crisp croutons on top. The staff was very nice and attentive to all of their customers. This is a fairly small dining room with about 4 tables, bar seating and a few tables outside. The menu is sizeable enough that most eaters should be able to find something that they will really enjoy.

If I could give 6 stars I would. Me and my wife were passing through town and looking for a quick lunch, when we happened to find Bad As's Sandwiches. While skeptical of how bad ass these sandwiches were were went ahead and went here. We parked around back and had a quick laugh since we were so unaware we nearly walked into the bicycle shop behind the restaurant for a bite to eat. Anyways, we went in and the menu was small but simple and right to the point, good variety of different types of Sandwiches, cold, hot, meat, vegan, and the list goes on. The sandwich i picked while im blanking on the name right now, that isnt what was important. The important part was how wide my eyes gapped open 2 seconds into that first bite. That hot pastrami and melted cheese, with onions and bad ass sauce. Man oh man, easily the best sandwich ive ever had in my entire life. If you're ever in town and passing through, this place is a must stop. And if you live around the location and have never been, wtf are you even doing?!? Almost forgot to mention as well, how absolutely friendly the staff is. So down to earth. Even willing to take a few minutes to explain what is what on the sandwich. Nothing bad...
