This place is a scam! I felt discriminated against!

When I walked in, I waited for the female bartender to take my order. She seemed to be in a bad mood and clearly brought her personal attitude to work. Instead of letting me order, she told me I had to pay before ordering. I was confused, and before I could even respond, she walked away without taking my order.

Later, a manager came to take my order, but again insisted I pay first—before I even knew what the total was. No one showed me the amount I was being charged, there was no receipt, no signature, and no confirmation of a tip. I later found out they charged me $58, even though the food only cost $35—they added a $23 tip without my consent!

I’ve never experienced anything like this. I noticed other customers were allowed to pay after their meal. So why was I forced to pay first? Was it because I’m Asian?

On top of all that, their sushi rolls were honestly terrible. Worst I’ve had. This place is shady, disrespectful, and the service was awful.

Never coming back again....

I've been to many shows here and the vibe is always good! Torque D&B has shows here with artists like Degs from the UK, I just saw Todd Terry and Tony Touch play here (amazing, of course) and I've also seen a great synth wave band play. So the artists they showcase are fairly diverse.

The space itself features a central bar and a decent sized dance floor in front of a stage, with bathrooms to the back left. There are small tables around the sides of the entire venue if you want to sit and talk, though during a show it's usually too loud to talk for my taste. There's also sushi served here, which I don't usually eat but it was tasty the one time I did. The chef definitely knows what he's doing. All in all a great place to spend...

The anticipation paid off!! I have been lucky enough to attend the other venues of this gentlemen’s creative mind and it’s always a special experience. The food, the music and the people who gather around his venues are my favorite in the world! I have to make special plans to even get over to this place as I live out of town. However, I always try to stop by and now I have another reason to! Orlando is very lucky to have this mastermind, from eclectic music choices to incredible tasty treats.... I wish for this venue the best and look forward to getting to go there more often! Thanks for a great Weekend of...
