As someone who frequently visits various eateries, I'm not easily impressed, but my experience at BIG DAVE'S CHEESESTEAKS was nothing less than phenomenal. From the moment I entered, I was instantly greeted by a cheerful and enthusiastic "WELCOME IN!" that set the tone for the rest of my visit. The first impression, especially for a first-time visitor like myself, was both warm and inviting.
The star of my visit was undoubtedly the cashier ARELY, whose exceptional service turned an ordinary meal into a delightful experience. Her welcoming smile and genuine enthusiasm made me feel like an old friend returning to a familiar place. She patiently took the time to understand my cravings and preferences, illuminating the menu with insights and recommendations that aligned perfectly with my taste buds. Her knowledge about the food was impressive and her ability to personalize my order left me utterly grateful.
Navigating through a plethora of choices can be daunting, but her guidance was like having a personal culinary advisor. She asked insightful questions about my likes and dislikes, ensuring that my selection was tailored to my individual palate. It wasn't just about ordering a meal; it was about crafting an experience, and she excelled at it.
The cheesesteak she helped me select was nothing short of heavenly. The succulent savory flavor resonated with every bite, and it undeniably lived up to its reputation. The balance of tender meat, perfectly melted cheese, and fresh ingredients was orchestrated to perfection, truly making it a standout dish.
Reflecting on that experience now, I realize that great food can indeed satisfy the stomach, but impeccable service enriches the soul. That seamless blend of outstanding culinary delight, coupled with a cashier who seemed genuinely invested in my satisfaction, elevated this from a simple meal to an unforgettable encounter.
In a world where exceptional service is increasingly rare, this extraordinary lady at BIG DAVE'S CHEESESTEAKS restored my faith in the art of hospitality. Kudos to her and BIG DAVE'S CHEESESTEAKS for creating not just meals, but memorable moments.
I wholeheartedly recommend BIG DAVE'S CHEESESTEAKS and can't wait to return for both the extraordinary food and the top-tier service provided by this remarkable cashier. Your taste buds and your spirit will...
Read moreSo I am a manager of a restaurant and I recently placed an order today with your location on Uber eats. I had a question about my order and called and was greeted by your employee named Kat. I was extremely polite asking if she had an order on her app with my name because I wanted to see if I had made my modification correct. She proceeded to seemed annoyed shrugged me off and claims there was no order for your location so I must have placed it at the other one. I apologized and wanted to confirm if that would be the Ovideo location and she said yes and then just hung up. I called the Oviedo location explained the same thing and the woman was extremely polite and helpful. She double checked her tablet couldn’t find my name. I then apologized explained I would contact Uber and she proceeded to be kind and asked for me to call back straight away if it is their location and they will make my order immediately. When I was done with Uber I found out it was in fact the Orlando Crystal Lake location. I called you back and was placed with Tammy and was explaining what just happened. Mid conversation Kat jumped back on the phone and interrupted me and explained it was her I spoke to in a very rude tone. I asked nicely if she could check my name again and then she suddenly found it (because she wasn’t checking both active and completed orders in the tablet. I know because I run a restaurant.) and once again was extremely rude to me talking over me on the phone telling me the order already went out. I once again apologized (which I shouldn’t be considering her behavior and aggression towards me on the phone for having to do her job) and stated to not worry about my request. I personally would never want to call to order from you guys again just because of my interaction with her alone. She needs a serious coaching on professionalism and...
Read moreMy first time visiting Dave's was in the beginning of May, and I had an 18" Dave's cheesesteak. As a cheesesteak connoisseur, I couldn't believe that I wasn't on to them sooner. The sandwich was hittin' 🔥 🔥 🔥no doubt. My lady had the cheesesteak egg roll, which was good, but they need to put the same love into it like they do with the sandwich by actually filling it up with meat and making sure that the dough is a good size everytime. The first time when we ate there, most of the love was there but when we went back just days later, we found that the cheesesteak eggroll was skimp once we got home, so we've given them a break. We will return! What I've noticed is that every time I eat somewhere and I love it, I can go right back and not love it. I guess it depends on who's in the kitchen on a particular day. So, what I'd say to all that have restaurants is to keep your people in the kitchen happy and held to high standards, and you'll always have repeat customers. The establishment is pretty small, but you can Dine in. We had our food to go. Overall, the sandwich is delicious. I would say that the fries are alright, but for such a good sandwhich, need a redo to pull the entire meal together. We went to the one close to downtown orlando (SODO). Enjoy!...
