Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Orlando

I placed an online order as I was pulling into the biz. Their lobby was closed so I waited in the line which took long for them to service the cars in front of me. They gave me my blizzard with a lid to which I found odd considering they’re supposed to serve it to you upside down. I had extra topping as well to which not only was my blizzard soupy but it wasn’t extra topping. I immediately turned around & the mgr/owner whomever he was argued with me that I had been left the restaurant long time ago & how he held my blizzard upside down himself for 5 min after making it before bringing to me all of which was a lie because I saw them get my blizzard from their raggedy freezer as if it had already been made for a long time. Perhaps someone else ordered one & change their mind? Idk but he proceeds to ask me if I had tasted it as if they were going to put it back in the freezer to serve to the next customer who orders that same blizzard. ( I’m willing to bet based on previous reviews the mgr/owner probably did exactly that). I asked for my money back if he didn’t want to remake it, but I know their policy is the blizzard is suppose to be free. However, I wasn’t even asking for a free one, I only wanted my money back after he argued with me the way he did…. Sooo unprofessional! Long story short the blizzard he reluctantly remade didn’t have extra topping that I paid for & it didn’t even taste like it normally does; as I’ve been to many other locations & have always placed my order as I pull in & never has my blizzard been soupy, just disgusting. Man, I really hate to give this place a bad review because the workers are awesome, and I love a tasty Blizzard, but the food is absolutely terrible. My son wanted a Blizzard, so we thought it would be a good idea to snag some food there for dinner beforehand since we were in the area, but it was a HUGE mistake. Every aspect of the food was terrible and all the sauces were disgusting. The sauce made the Flame Burger almost unable to eat, and my son could only take a few bites of his cheeseburger...which is one of his favorite foods. But it was gross. The Chicken tenders were tiny and underwhelming, and the Buffalo sauce was probably the worst ive tasted. You cant make a half way decent Buffalo Sauce? Or a Basic Cheeseburger? Grill and Chill??? Terrible!!! The grill spoiled the chill...

The only thing we ended up enjoying was the cheese curds. I know its Fast Food, so we weren't expecting anything special or fine dining, but when you spend $40 on a few combos, you would like to be able to actually eat it and not throw it away. We ended up having such a literal bad taste in our mouths noone ended up wanting the Blizzard, which was the entire reason we went to begin with. Ruined the entire night and fun aspect of going out for a 'treat'.

Again...the staff is always great, and maybe it was our fault for wanting to eat food at a ice cream place, but man... absolutely disgusting.

Get the Blizzard....

Came at 10:15pm just wanting to get some ice-cream and go. I pull into the parking lot and before I can even put my car into park the employee is rudely waving his hands at me to go around to the drive-thru.. okay I get it you're about to close. So, I go through the drive-thru, no big deal, because I was taking it to go anyways. Well I get my food and park to make sure I have it all and I notice I'm missing sauce and my drink so I walk back up to the front and the worker again motions me to go to the drive-thru window.. so I walk up to the drive-thru window get what I am missing and I go back to my car to eat my food. $16 for a sandwich, fries, 3 chicken tenders and two blizzards isn't bad, right? Well not exactly.. when the chicken tenders look shriveled up, the burger is no bigger than the palm of your hand, and your chocolate extreme blizzard tastes more like vanilla than chocolate of course you are not happy.. I have been to this location before and have never had a problem but after tonight I will never come back... I was too scared to walk back up to the window and confront them so I just ate my food and now I just feel sick to my stomach from the blizzard it tastes no good and couldn't do anything because everyone...
