No quiche for you! Lunch and a show. We were a group of 8. We sat outside as one person in our party has mobility issues and could not make it to the larger tables upstairs. Our server was very polite, allowing us to move the tables around to accommodate us. The music was a little loud but overall the ambiance was nice. The americano coffees were good but the cappuccino was more of a latte. We ordered a variety of things; pasta, quiche, salmon sandwiches, scrambled eggs, mini baguettes, and an omelet. The quiche came out first and though the flavors were pretty good the topping was dried and did not taste fresh. We sent it back and the server very politely apologized and said he would bring another. While we waited the rest of the food came out. The presentation was great. They all looked wonderful. However, the pasta was bland, the bread was tough, the omelet was supposed to come with tomatoes but didn’t, and the eggs were tasteless. The side salads were tasty though. Now for the best part. A person, I can only assume was the manager, came back out with the quiche (sans side salad) he set it down and said here I warmed this up for you. We thanked him but said that we did not want it. This was not received well and the man, now clearly dealing with some big feelings, explained how the quiche was made yesterday and that is how it has to be done. He only got more heated from there. He went on to say that it was definitely fresh. We said we didn’t want to argue that we were fine we just didn’t want the quiche. He refused to let it go, after going back inside he immediately returned (still enraged) that HE made it and that we didn’t know what we were talking about. Trying to diffuse the situation we all thanked him and said it was all good. However, his rant continued, he finished with a chef’s kiss and went back inside. I will say we were not charged for the quiche or the mini baguettes we never received. As a parting gift the same man came back out to tell us quite pompously that he hoped we enjoyed our meal and that we should definitely come back to experience the love he was trying to pass on through the food and of course the FRESH quiche.

Said food item was $16, didn’t say that croissant and chips cost extra $3 for that- could’ve done without the chips if knew they were extra. Despite that, was given salad (which might’ve been free?), yet still charged for chips. Food took more than an hour to get to us, yet all we ordered was a crepe and croissant sandwich. Given a truffle in the middle of the wait but I mean, doesn’t make up for that fully. The menu doesn’t have prices which was super cool. No clue how much we were spending, had to ask for pricing which is kind of an inconvenience. Had we known that the service would be the way it was we probably would’ve eaten elsewhere, but at that point we were already seated. Food was fine, could’ve gotten it at the farmers market for the same price but for a 10th of the wait. The service wasn’t really good at all, not nearly good enough to warrant the wait/prices. I hate to complain about anything, but it was pretty disappointing! We waited maybe 10ish minutes for them to pick up the bill (we went to the cashier to pay and they asked us to sit back down, so we did) and as I write this review I’m still waiting for them to charge my card, which has been an extra few minutes for no reason. It’s not busy! Just now as I’m leaving came the lunch rush, but while we were waiting for our food there was maybe two other tables that were being used. I took a picture on the freeway at 11:05 which is maybe a 10 minute drive away, which means that I got there around 11:20. I am now leaving at almost 1PM involuntarily and I just want to leave at this point. I'm a food service worker and know completely what they have to go through, but even in the lunch/dinner rush, I never treated guests this way- let alone when the restaurant wasn't busy. EDIT: after reading the negative reviews about this place I 100% agree with their experiences.

Attentive, timely service. Impeccably clean. Everything I have ordered there has the most amazing texture/flavor/presentation. This is somewhere I go when I want my taste buds to dance with joy! I have been several times, and consistently have had amazing food and service. My favorite brunch spot in ALL of Orlando. The crab cake Benedict, and the bakery cakes are my FAV. (I have so much more to try) The champagne is yummy and most of the food is ORGANIC. They have their foods free of artificial colors and dyes and that means a LOT to me. Their orange juice is FRESH squeezed. If you are expecting breakfast food similar to American Diner THIS IS NOT THE PLACE for you. This place serves DELICIOUS rich and flavorful traditional french food. It is encouraged you try something outside of a typical American breakfast here and I can vouch you will not be disappointed! Be open minded and take this as an opportunity to learn about the difference in French culture and cuisine. Don’t expect a Starbucks style menu for coffee. Their coffee is simple and very good. Recently I had the pleasure of meeting the owners. The sweetest couple who are clearly very passionate about everything in this place. And I mean everything you can tell that they put their heart and soul into every ingredient, menu items, decor, cleaning, even the bathroom amenities are impressive. (Silly, but I always dread using public bathrooms when eating out and here it’s such a relief to not worry about that here! SO clean) Just a note as well I have a blended racial family with black, white, and also Japanese and we were treated like we were vip. Nothing but respect.

The wait time just to get someone to take my order was crazy considering the only other people in there were people who already had their food and I could hear the employees just chit chatting with each other the whole time. Oh and did I mentioned the person at the front specifically told me to go grab a table upstairs and someone would be right with us to get our order (it was my first time at this place so I was unaware I couldn’t order at the register unless I wanted takeout) I had waited so long I started looking around and that’s when I noticed a little placard on the table that I couldn’t see because it was tucked between these two fake plants on the table and the placard said to scan the code order and pay online so I just somehow assumed I heard the person in front incorrectly and went to scan the code it took my phone a solid 3 minutes just to load the menu because the connection in that building was horrendous and I even attempted ordering but it kept saying error and making me try again after the fourth error someone finally decided to come upstairs and bring us a water and take our order.

The food was an utter disappointment two sandwiches neither looked like the picture advertised on the menu when you scan the order code at the table at all and the Mahi Mahi just dry Chicken caprese don’t even get me started I took what I would t even consider a full singular bite and I didn’t even bother eating anymore. The water cups are so small they are the size of the cups you drink bourbon in so obviously I finished the water right after I was given it only time that cup got refilled was when my food was bought over. After that disappointment I just payed and walked out just as hungry as when I walked in. And each sandwich $15.50 wasted over $30 they were actually lucky I always tip no matter where I go so even though they failed me I still gave 18% tip.

Atmosphere was just awkward and don’t get me started on the colors of the wall bright green and orange? I usually don’t even comment on atmosphere but this place genuinely upset me so much I can’t let anything slide.

What gave this review a 0.3 instead of 0 stars is they had a bathroom and I really needed one the only good thing about this wretched place. Oh yeah and I guess one of the workers the only female I saw seemed nice and said have a good day when I was walking out (basic service...
