Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Orlando. This one is actually the closest one to the downtown library location, hence its name. they do a surcharge whenever there are major events happening nearby, however on the whole they are reasonably priced for parking.
They are nearby to pretty much anything you want to do in the heart of downtown Orlando. They are right across the street from the major library. But they are also close to a lot of the clubs and restaurants downtown that are popular. it's a much easier place to find parking easily than to try and find parallel parking on the main roads.
it does have two different exits one that comes out on pine and one that comes out on Central. Be sure to pay attention to the signage so that you exit out onto a road that makes your life a little easier once you're out. A lot of the roads downtown or one ways so be sure to note which way you want to go home before you fully exit the garage.
Overall: A conveniently located and decently priced. This is an easy space to find parking downtown for pretty...
Read moreFire hazard, be aware. On July 4, the stairwell was under construction and not available for the public to use. That is a major fire hazard. If there was an emergency, no one in the garage would be able to escape. There was a long line of people waiting to use the elevator because it was the only way to go in, and the only way to leave. There was a long line of cars waiting to leave the garage as well, completely stationary for 10-15 minutes at a time. The garage should not be operational until this is fixed. Not only that, but allegedly, there was a shooting the same day, and several lives were lost due to car accidents. If there was a shooting nearby/inside the garage, or an accident in the garage, no one would be able to leave. If you like to play around with your life, please pay them your good money just to park a little closer...
Read moreThe Library Garage in Downtown Orlando is an architectural and engineering marvel. Leaving my car there makes me feel that I'm giving testament to the venturesome souls who conceived it and those amazing humans who built it. The walls, built to almost perfect verticality, whisper of the time when nothing existed on that spot and then, after many months, something did.
I will be remiss if I did not mention the floors of this magnificent tribute to human capability. They are made of solid concrete, which I believe provides much of the sturdiness of said floors. My car did not sink at all, even though I was riding it.
So, if you are in Orlando and you have an unquenchable desire to put your car in between two lines at a multi-vehicular facility, you have...
