Today I’m writing a review of Krispy Kreme located near the intersection of Millenia Boulevard and Conroy Road in the Millenia Neighborhood of Orlando, Florida!
Right off the bat, this place has the PERFECT staff. They always give the service they provide to their guests their all, quite possibly some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet in your entire life.
STAFF=PERFECT FOOD=PERFECT DRINKS=PERFECT
HOWEVER! This Krispy Kreme does need some improvement when it comes to its landscaping.
There is a tall dead Mexican Fan Palm that has been outside, standing dead for quite some time and truthfully speaking, it’s a very bad look for this place, and this place doesn’t need a bad looking appearance.
I would like to recommend to Krispy Kreme to invest in Palms that are easier to take care of, such as Florida Royal Palms. These species, as the name implies are native to Florida and therefore handle Florida’s wet climate much better and will not need to be pruned anywhere near as often, as Palms only need to be pruned when brown, but Florida Royal Palms very rarely turn brown.
Mexican Fan Palms are native to a desert, which means they like hot and arid climates, not hot and humid climates. That’s why these palms are more commonly grown in California and Nevada.
So although not impossible to grow in Florida, Orlando’s excessive rainfall makes it challenging to grow these specific palms without risking root rot in comparison to other species.
I decided to make a “Before” and “After” concept as to what Krispy Kreme can do to make their property look more inviting and more “Florida”.
I added an additional Mexican Fan Palm in place of the deceased one, just in case Krispy Kreme wishes to continue planting this species, but in addition to this, I also added Florida Royal Palms to the left and in between the Mexican Fan Palms to further show what these new plants can do for this location.
I hope this Krispy Kreme location considers my advice, as I want this location to look their best and truly dazzle...
Read moreThis place is amazing, I went to here in the late afternoon, around 6:00 p.m., I was drawn in by the fact that they had a Harry Potter special Donuts. A dozen for about $20. Approximately $1.60 a donut which is great considering the size of the donuts and the price of everything right now. I added a picture that I took in one from their promotion, they are just as delicious looking as they're ad.
Going this late to a donut shop kind of sets a precident in your head that they might not be fresh and you're getting the end of the day Donuts. Boy was I wrong, especially since I drove another 30 minutes home in traffic before I got a chance to enjoy them. They were delicious.
The staff was incredibly friendly, not a single person in there, did not have a smile on their face. When they went to grab the donuts you can see that they were taking their time to grab the best ones for you and if they saw one that they didn't like, they would put it aside. The Establishment itself was incredibly clean and had families with kids wearing little Krispy Kreme hats which was adorable.
And I highly recommend the Harry Potter collection it is a delicious mix of all these different types of flavors that I will list in the bottom of this review. Overall everything was delicious, and I will definitely repeat probably more times than I should.
Harry Potter Collection: Gryffindor™ Doughnut (cookie butter Kreme™ filling, Biscoff® crumble), a Slytherin™ Doughnut (chocolate and green buttercream swirls, chocolate cookie sugar), a Hufflepuff™ Doughnut (brown butter toffee custard filling, golden yellow icing, cookie crunch), and a Ravenclaw™ Doughnut...

It seems like every other time I go to their Millenia location there is some issue with this location. I used to go here a lot, but I just got fed up with them and no longer go. FOR INSTANCE, last time I had a coupon [from their calendar they sell in December] that had just expired the previous month. It was a $3 off a dozen coupon -- nothing outrageous. I asked the employee serving doughnuts if I could use it. He went to ask his manager who said yes. So I ordered my doughnuts got to the register to pay and another manager said she wouldn't except the coupon. The employee mentioned the other manager said it was ok, but this lady said NO -- end of discussion. I tried to reason with her to no avail. So, I said, OK, let me use this months coupon which is a free dozen. So they got real irritated and made some rude comments [or a real bad attempt at a joke] using this other coupon -- which made no sense to me since it seemed like I should be the one irritated because of their actions. They gave me an additional dozen glazed with current months coupon and I was on my way. I got home and noticed that several of the glazed doughnuts were pierced with their straw they use to serve doughnuts with AND several of the glazed doughnuts were crushed. OK, I don't need this....
