I still give this place a 5 star rating. There are two locations near where I live but I choose to go here because of the service. Miss Willie is such a pleasant person as well as the other girls working there. The current manager (Charles?) used to be a cook there and he was nice. Now I sense a little arrogance in him and makes you feel he does not want to resolve an issue or concern.
I understant that there is no law in Florida requiring restaurants to provide drinking water to customers. But I drink water everywhere I go, not because I am cheap but I just really like water with lots of ice. Last night, we were going to dine in as usual and bought a small drink and asked for a cup for water and the manager explained that people ask for water cup and get soda instead. For me to have water, I have to buy a bottled water or pay for the cup.
I explained that if I want to steal drinks, I would have just drink from the same cup of my spouse instead but being honest, I will not do that. If they are really trying to control their food cost, then put the drinks behind the counter instead. The manager would rather lose a sale than to provide a one time exception to a customer who has been going there since 2015. We left because of that and would most likely not come back unless they change...
Read moreI'm going to start here... I assume this happens to many customers like me. It's quite frustrating to receive what you didn't order when you get home. I'm tired of buying at this branch and they give me the option to choose spicy chicken and what I receive is 2 pieces of spicy chicken and all the extras from the family combo are not spicy. I don't understand why they say that they have the product as is and then make these mixes in the order. What does it cause is anger? I went back and told the manager what was happening to me for the 3rd time! and he says: ohh it takes 30 minutes to get spicy chicken, so why do you offer it? Your sales strategy is very bad and obviously the guy is not to blame, it's the production logistics of the place that the manager should correct, apart from the fact that they could see the lack of staff and stress that the few that worked had!! I have already decided not to go anymore, I got tired of spending more than 45.00 on something that I had to throw away because if it wasn't the product mixes it was that the chicken hadn't been boiled from frying correctly and was raw, I like this franchise it's the closest I have to Louiciana but for me and my children getting sick I...
Read moreI went by this location (50 and Kirkman/Pine Hills Rd) and it was pouring down rain, I almost turned away when I saw the signboard had been run over, or something, it was on the ground. Then I noticed there was a human under the awning with a menu so I stayed. When it was my turn I rolled down my window I was greeted with such a warm happy smile, dude is hiding under an umbrella going car to car and still manages to be one of the most pleasant people I encountered that day! He literally waited for me to roll my window up before leaving with the umbrella...who does that? I get to the window and I tell the lady what a great guy she's got on her team (I assumed she was the manager cause her shirt was different) turns out the guy in the rain is the General Manager! I was floored â€ïž that is servant leadership at its best! I hope this corporation knows what an amazing team they have in Pine Hills. I gave up on the Ocoee location awhile ago, the food there is never fresh and the employees act like you're bothering them, but your Pine Hills guys, they've got it...
