I’m a flight attendant for American Airlines, and I’m sure many of you have heard about the plane crash that occurred in Washington last week. It's been an incredibly tough time for all of us in the aviation community. This was my first week back at work, and I stopped by a Subway to grab a quick bite. Mario, the staff member working there, was so kind and welcoming. He immediately noticed I was feeling down and tried to cheer me up. He saw my uniform and asked me briefly if I enjoyed my job, to which I gave a short response.
While I was there, a customer politely asked me if I was a flight attendant, and I suddenly broke down in tears. The customer wasn’t rude or offensive at all—quite the opposite, he was respectful and understanding. But it was still so fresh for me. What really took me by surprise, though, was Mario. He asked if I needed a hug, and without hesitation, he came from behind the counter and embraced me. He even asked if he could pray for me.
I just want to say thank you to Subway for employing such a compassionate person. Mario not only brightens the day for customers, but he also offers a shoulder to lean on when it's needed most. I truly appreciate...

Ohhh myyy gooodness!!
No where else have I ever gone, even other Subways, where I have this problem. She literally refused to seperate my bread.

She was just DISENGAGED, AND totally NON-ACCOMMODATING!!
ZERO customer service skills!!!!!!!
This is why you have to be diligent about WHO you hire to place in FRONT of customers.
She'd be yesterday's news if that was my...
Read moreThe food is just what you would expect from a Subway. The ingredients were fresh and the food tasted good. The reason I gave a poor review is the service. I walked inside and I didn’t see anyone, but I could hear them in the back so I said hello multiple times. I’m sure she heard me but also heard the doorbell ring when I entered. She also heard me saying hello, but did not respond. When the lady walked to the front to service me not only did she not greet me or say hello but she also had a clear attitude. I could tell because it was written all over her face as if I was aggravating her and she was trying to close the restaurant. There was no need to be rude because the restaurant was still open, I was just trying to order something to eat. I will not return to this location...
