Snappers — Restaurant in Orlando

This store is not Dasher friendly. They confirm the order was ready, yet when I arrive to the store 2 minutes after it was due it was still not. Then, they told me it was only going to be two more minutes. I then waited another 10 minutes before it was actually ready. Then, when it was technically ready 12 minutes after the order was actually due, he would not hand me the order or even show it to me until I confirmed that I had picked it up. The Dasher is not supposed to confirm that the order is picked up by them until they have verified the order is actually the right order they are being end it. Many things can go wrong between them saying that the order is ready and then handing it to you, such as dropping the order and having to remake it, being handed the wrong order, ect. Absolutely ignorant. I even told him that I would confirm the order was picked up once he handed it to me before I left the store, but would still not hand me the order as if I was just going to run. 🙄

Update: So a week later I pick up through drive thru (as a dasher). I was the last one in the Drive-Thru before they closed. I again was asked to confirm the order before I was handed the order. It was a different employee this time, because he was at least polite. Immediately after handing it to me he closed and locked the window for closing. Inspecting the order I notice only 2 boxes in the bag for 3 meals. I could not reach them to question them, because they quickly closed. This is what I tried explaining to the other guy during my first delivery for the store.....this is one of the many reasons why I don't like confirming before I am able to inspect the order. Because of this I received a negative rating. Upon visiting the store again after this at least the employee who handed me the incomplete order was polite and understanding about me saying that I now need to see the order...

It was a great surprise on how affordable and good this fast-food restaurant was. It was so good that we came back to this restaurant a couple of times during our Orlando vacation.

Location and building: It appears to be located in not the best neighborhood and the outside of the building doesn't look appealing. Therefore, we only went to the drive-threw.

Food: Ask to season fries with your preferred specific seasoning. Lemon pepper seasoning is home-made and extremely good. Loved the lemon pepper on the fries. Gizzards were one of the best I ever had in my life. Chicken and catfish had perfect crispiness and the seasoning was only spread on top. Recommend trying their chicken over the catfish. Possibly ask for extra seasoning on the side due to the lack of seasoning on the catfish.

Food ranking: Chicken: 8.5/10 Catfish: 7/10 Fries: 9/10 Gizzards: 9.5/10

Customer service: Not the best customer service but not the worst. The professionalism and being able to answer questions about the food could improve. They don't give enough ketchup and hot sauce. Therefore, check the bag before you drive off.

Overall: I highly suggest going to this place. Amazing prices. If it's your first time trying this place, I would recommend trying their chicken and fries before anything else. If you like Gizzards, I highly recommend you buy them. My family will definitely return to...

My husband and I have 3 kids under the age of 3, who are, all of a sudden, very picky eaters! It's been rough finding things that they will actually eat.. AND eat consistently! We live a few blocks from Snappers and decided to give it a try! Lol! I was shocked by the large variety they offer and even more shocked by the affordable prices! I always get the chicken gyro and fries with a side of shrimp, my husband gets the Philly or the regular gyro, and our kids get the chicken strips and fries. We are absolutely going to try most of the menu eventually. Everything has been so so so good every time, including the service and speed. We always go to Snappers and order our food there, but take it to go to eat at home, and we always end up leaving with 2 bags of food for our family of 5 for less than $40! I also have to mention that the fries are the absolute best! Whatever the seasonings are that they put on them... Perfection! Lol! I'd definitely recommend Snappers and we are definitely going to continue to be regular...
