I went to this restaurant because it was recommended by a friend. I decided to go right after they opened with hopes of getting "fresh" food for lunch. Upon entry, the restaurant was clean and tidy. A bit smaller than expected but was eager to order and eat. This was my second time eating at a Mediterranean restaurant. I was not impressed. In my experience the food wasn't fresh at all. I ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich/wrap (one for myself and another for my husband who was at home). The chicken was too salty and not at all fresh. The meat is precooked but heated up on a grill after ordering. I also ordered a salad in which the lettuce was starting to brown a little. Be careful as the menu is misleading, the menu mentions that if you order a sandwich/wrap you can get a side for $1.99. I thought I would pay $1.99 but instead paid $5.99. the side must be added inside the sandwich/wrap in order to get the $1.99 pricing. If you want the side on the side then the price goes up to $5.99. No where does their menu mention this. I ordered my food to go but decided to eat in my car with hopes of experiencing the "freshness" but unfortunately I can't say this to be true. Overall, I wasn't pleased based on the salty food and lack of quality and freshness. I won't be back. I'll be searching for another Mediterranean...
Read moreOkay, so I used to eat here when it first opened and I loved it. Food was good, portions were great. Price was still a little high but it’s okay because I was always satisfied. Been about 6 months since today from the last time I ate here. I ordered the chicken platter, with cauliflower and tomatoes and cucumber along with humus and garlic sauce. The server acts like grabbing a full spoon of food was going to rob the earth of all its natural resources. It was carefully placed to look as if it was an actual portion. Then I get a teaspoon of humus and garlic sauce. I get more in a Starbucks protein pack. Then the chicken. I see two cups on chicken in the back one with good portions and another with very little. I’m thinking ok, I got the platter it’s $16 bucks I’m getting the big portion. Nah bruh the server is like oh that one is his and bam I get Oliver twisted. Even the person ringing me up was like is that it? I’m like I’d like some more but what’s the use. BAM $16. I spent a good 4 minutes and 3 seconds eating it and I’m still hungry. It’s not worth the 15 minute wait for that. That portion should of been an easy 8-9 but nope we...
Read moreAfter the disappointing closure of Bricks and Bowls (the best food court option at the mall) I figured I would try this place. I always enjoy some good Mediterranean food. Well the issue is this is not good food.
They have the meat on display in the back and you would think they would cut fresh from that, but no they dump this sad container of shredded meat onto your plate that’s been sitting for god knows how long. The meat itself tasted more like the seasoning than meat and was dry and disappointing. The sides were okay but both worth the price(I got the tomato and cucumber salad and the tabbouleh). When the other person I was with attempted to order two salads, the employee was extremely rude, saying that was not an option, even though the other employee just served me that.
I can see why this place always seems dead, because the food is mediocre and the employees have the attitude of inmates. I like to try local businesses and not visit chains but save your money and get Chipotle or something else because at $20 a person this was a complete disappointment. Only reason it doesn’t get a 1 star is because...
