Charleys Philly Steaks — Restaurant in Orlando

Last week my family and I visited this location while on a short weekend trip from Sarasota. Everything was fine for the most part, until my wife needed a refill of her soda. She walked to the counter where there were three employees and one manager. We could tell he was the manager because of how he treated the employees. He was rather rude to them, jumping on the verbally for small issues that did t really matter. However that was not the issue we had. Upon approaching the counter, my wife asked if she could get a refill, which he manager replied yes. He then turned away from her for several seconds, but when he turned around there was a woman of color next to my wife, also seeking a refill of her beverage. The manager looked past my wife (who is Caucasian) and immediately began helping the woman of color. The other woman stopped him and told him hat my wife was in line first and that she should get her refill first. The manager rolled his eyes and reluctantly refilled my wife’s drink. This is exactly what is wrong with our country and people like this manager are at the root of the problem. I've have gone to Charley's a few times since they opened a new one near me and I've always like they're food. But this time I tried having it delivered and boy was that a mistake. When my food finally arrived it wasn't even warm, the fries were cold and soggy and the drink watered-down. I basically just threw the food away. So that was basically money down the drain. I will never order delivery again nor will I recommend it to anyone. I'm not sure if I'll even visit another Charley's again. Hope this review helps others not to go through what I went.

The hiring manager is not professional he told me to come in at 10 am and then when i got there at 9:50am I helped open till 11 and when he came at 11am he told me “sorry man i cant hire you “ but he wouldnt tell me and then i said how come you didn’t call me and he said that he txted me but that text doesn’t even make sense i feel that if he was professional he would have called me and told me . But no he didn’t so i was there for an hour opening.
